"Ridiculous!" Emma desired to retort, confident that she didn't belong among the notable figures. Her influence in social, cultural, and political realms was virtually nonexistent.

However, responding in such a manner would only fuel Bright's narrative, so she chose to nod and express her gratitude politely.

"Thank you very much, Your Highness, for graciously providing me with a room there," Emma said with a courteous tone.

"Do you find it comfortable?" Bright inquired.

"How could I not be comfortable, Your Highness? What I have received clearly surpasses what would be expected!" Emma replied with a gracious smile, her words carrying a subtle layer of sarcasm. "…and deserve."
