Kai Syaoran entered seclusion immediately after getting the second writing from the old man. With the second writing in hand, Kai Syaoran decided to put everything else to the side and focus on cultivation.

A few days after he entered seclusion, the Sea Martial Sect began its war on the smaller factions. 

He had not even gotten news about the many assassinations that had taken place. Even when the Supreme Protector released his power shocking the entire world, Kai Syaoran remained oblivious. 

He continued with his cultivation in peace. 

Some of the assassins had attacked Grand Master Cai but Kai Syaoran did not sense them even though he was in the same mansion.
