In the uncharted territories of the New World, amidst the remnants of a dilapidated structure, a faint glow of firelight cast an eerie yet intriguing ambiance.
Two shadowy figures materialized from the dancing flames, one of them pulsating with palpable enthusiasm.
"Finding you after your escape from Marineford was no cakewalk," one figure exclaimed.
"But let's leave the past behind," the other responded, "the clues to the treasure hidden by that person are now in the hands of my Master!"
"With that treasure, the whole world could be ours!" The fervor in the voice belonged to a short, middle-aged man wildly gesticulating in exhilaration.
Seated across from him was Douglas Bullet. Hearing the news, he raised his head, locking eyes with the speaker, then shook his head dismissively.
"I have no interest in so-called treasures," Bullet declared. "What I need is a battleship that surpasses any power. I want to use it to challenge Whitebeard and claim the title of the world's strongest man!"
His words lingered, filling the room with a heavy silence.
The short, middle-aged man, Buena Festa, hadn't anticipated Bullet's revelation. Cold sweat formed on his forehead as he fumbled for words.
A captain of the Festival Pirates, known as the 'Master of Festivities,' Festa had once harbored grand ambitions. However, his lack of power thwarted those dreams until he heard of Bullet's escape from Impel Down.
Hope rekindled, and he tracked down Bullet, only to find that the plan didn't unfold as he envisioned.
Bullet, uninterested in treasure, aimed to confront Whitebeard, a formidable figure renowned for charging fearlessly into Marineford and holding the title of the world's strongest man.
Facing the daunting challenge posed by the one who initiated the second era of the Great Pirates, Festa hesitated, realizing he couldn't guarantee Bullet's victory.
"Is there no way?" Bullet's eyes snapped open, emanating a powerful haki that intensified the pressure on Festa.
"Guru~" Festa nervously swallowed, the weight of Bullet's presence pressing down on him.
Despite the anxiety, Festa's ambition refused to be quelled. "Of course, there's a way!" he blurted out. "I can make your dream a reality. We'll organize a grand pirate celebration where you defeat Whitebeard in front of all, claiming the title of the strongest man in the world!"
His words rushed out, excitement building until, with arms outstretched, he concluded his proposal with infectious enthusiasm.
In the midst of the chaos and uncertainty, a shadowy figure observed the unfolding events from the shadows. Alex, now a cunning and calculative mastermind, had been pulling the strings behind the scenes, carefully orchestrating the grand celebration and chaos that would follow.
As Festa burst into laughter and the wild plan took shape in his mind, Alex's gaze remained cold and calculating. His ambition to destroy the era established by Roger and guide the birth of a new one had driven him to the point of madness, but his strategic mind remained sharp.
The news of the Pirate Festival spreading across the seas reached the ears of renowned pirates, including the Supernovas like Kid and Killer. Alex, hidden in the shadows, anticipated their reactions and knew that the festival would attract the attention of these powerful players in the New World.
As Kid and Killer discussed the festival and the rumored treasure left behind by Roger, Alex's mind was already at work. He saw an opportunity to further his grand plan and exploit the chaos that would ensue. The idea of the Pirate King Roger's treasure was merely a pawn in his game, a tool to draw in powerful pirates and manipulate their actions to his advantage.
Even on the small island where the Marine headquarters was temporarily relocated, Sengoku remained busy, unaware of the puppet master pulling the strings from the shadows. Alex's cunning and calculative nature allowed him to navigate the intricate web of events, ensuring that his influence reached every corner of the unfolding story.
As for what occupies his time, it's nothing more than handling a myriad of inquiries about Whitebeard.
"Next up, another major battle!" Sengoku sighed.
After the conclusion of the Summit War of Marineford, the World Government issued orders for the Marines to join forces with CP0 to eradicate Whitebeard.
Following several days of meticulous preparations, the Marines and the World Government were finally poised for action.
He foresaw that an assault on Whitebeard would be imminent.
"Fleet Admiral Sengoku."
At that very moment, the office door swung open, and a visibly distressed Marine officer rushed in.
"What's the matter?" Sengoku's heart raced, fearing another significant event had transpired.
"A mysterious call just came through to the communication room. They stated that in half a month, a pirate festival is scheduled on a small island in the New World."
"The organizers have invited a substantial number of pirates to attend and will unveil the treasure of the Pirate King Roger during the festival."
The Marine officer relayed the information hastily.
"What?!" Sengoku's face turned pale, and he swiftly rose from his seat, exclaiming, "Damn it! Why now, of all times!"
Seeing that the Marines were on the brink of collaborating with the World Government to assail Whitebeard.
Now, another Pirate Festival is unfolding.
And this Festival revolves around Roger's treasure.
The Marines can't afford to ignore it.
"Not only that," the Marine continued,
"The phone call also mentioned that the Festival will extend an invitation to Whitebeard, and during the celebration, Bullet, who escaped from Impel Down, will challenge Whitebeard for the title of the world's strongest man!"
When those words reached Sengoku's ears, his eyes widened in an instant.
At that moment, a realization struck him.
Something significant is on the horizon!
