"Shut up, you bastard!" Sengoku roared once more.
What was this guy up to? An IOU from an unknown source, and I want to ask Doflamingo for 1.5 billion Baileys. How is this even possible? Isn't this guy clearly trying to trouble Doflamingo? Besides, what do you mean by talking to yourself? Saying hi and then give me money?
Thinking about Sengoku, he was completely enraged. This guy was becoming too much hooligan.
"Wait, Sengoku, what are you doing?" Kahn had a somewhat grim expression.
Because Sengoku had just torn up that IOU!
"What are you doing, Kahn? Stay here honestly, and come with me to see the elders later! Don't try to act recklessly!"
"That's the compensation for the two marines! Won't they be heartbroken if they knew you torn their compensation?"
"Shut up, you willful bastard."
"Forget it, it's just a scrap of paper," Kahn suddenly said.
Sengoku's blood pressure was a bit high. He couldn't wait to confront this old man directly, which would only create trouble for himself.
"Kahn, you should know that Doflamingo is fundamentally different from other Shichibukai."
"Sengoku, of course, I know. Aren't they descendants of the Celestial Dragons? But then how can they owe debts and do not repay the money? It's only right and proper. Those two navy marines are still waiting for this old man to give them an answer!"
Kahn certainly understood what Sengoku meant. But Kahn had a point to make. If there were no significant differences, he wouldn't bother seeking answers.
The Sengoku Period was about to break out when a voice outside the door interrupted.
"Report to Marshal Sengoku, the Shichibukai have arrived and are in the meeting room now! Are you going there now?"
Upon hearing these words, Sengoku suppressed his anger. Now was not the time to be angry.
"Kahn, stay here for a while. I'm going to attend the meeting, and I'll take you to meet The Elders later!"
"The Shichibukai meeting? Why can't I go and see it too?"
"No, just having me is enough!"
Sengoku left directly after saying that. Kahn had already clashed with three Shichibukai, and if he went, it might cause even more trouble.
He had noticed that the current Kahn was vastly different from the previous version of himself. Perhaps it was because of his strength that Kahn had become more audacious now, even more so than that Garp guy.
Kahn did not stay behind. After all, these guys wouldn't be leaving anytime soon. He'd find his opportunity later.
Owed him a money? Still want to go? No chance.
Just staying in the office for a while, Kahn couldn't sit still. He hadn't been here for a long time. Kahn stood up and walked out. The marines at the gate saluted Lieutenant General Kahn immediately.
"Hello ,Lieutenant General Kahn!" Kahn nodded with a smile and continued walking along the corridor, ready to explore.
"As a Navy officer, it's shameful to act recklessly like this and hang out with pirates!" Kahn's footsteps stopped, and he turned to look at the speaker.
"Sakazuki! Are you giving me a lecture?"
"No, I'm just reminding you of your duty as a Navy officer, but I don't think veterans like you are fit to stay in the Navy anymore. Staying in the Navy, for someone like you, will only tarnish its reputation! It's better to retire as soon as possible!"
Akainu didn't mince his words. According to previous information, there must be an unusual relationship between him and the Pirate Empress. Moreover, he had heard that this guy accepted bribes and exchanged captured pirates for money, a disgrace to the Navy.
"Oh, really? But I think I can still work for a few more years! Don't you find that disappointing?"
"It's not disappointing; it's just shameful to associate with a depraved person like you. You're no longer worthy of upholding Navy justice!"
"Child Sakazuki! Shut up! You're not qualified to lecture me. When I joined the Navy, you were nowhere to be found!"
Akainu's expression changed. After all, he was also an admiral at the Navy headquarters. Getting berated like this within the Navy headquarters was embarrassing and made it hard for him to save face.
"You're just a fallen veteran."
"Really! Then do you know that even if I'm a veteran, I'm not someone you can provoke."
Then, the two of them began exuding a terrifying aura that made the surrounding sailors uneasy.
"Lieutenant General Kahn, General Sakazuki, please calm down," a marine cautiously pleaded. However, their auras only intensified, causing the tension to escalate.
"It seems that it's been a while since I returned. Even a rookie like you thinks he can challenge me," Kahn remarked.
Akainu retorted, "Don't underestimate me; you're just a relic from a bygone era, an old man who has abandoned justice in his heart."
Kahn heard those words, and his face darkened. "Initially, I wanted to show some respect to Sengoku, but now it seems that it's impossible."
Akainu looked at Kahn sarcastically. However, in the next moment, his pupils contracted as Kahn approached him with incredible speed. Who was he? An admiral of the Navy headquarters!
"You may be a old veteran, but don't underestimate me. I'm not a character like Crocodile!"
Akainu's right fist turned into magma as he launched an attack. Simultaneously, Kahn's fist turned pitch-black and was surrounded by blood-red lightning. Akainu's expression changed suddenly as he felt a surge of even greater power.
The two fists collided with a deafening explosion. The hallway filled with smoke and dust, and nearby rooms suffered damage. This altercation alerted both Kizaru and Aokiji .
"It's intense!" Aokiji commented, his expression grave.
Feeling the tremendous power in Akainu's punch, Kahn sneered. His pitch-black fist was now enveloped in blood-red lightning.
Akainu's complexion suddenly changed as he sensed a stronger force approaching. In an instant, he was sent flying and crashed into the distant square, creating a massive shockwave.
Kahn didn't hesitate; the flames on his body erupted, and he swiftly pursued Akainu.
"This is really troublesome!" Borsilano voice conveyed a sense of seriousness.
"Is this the power of Conqueror's Haki?" Aokiji finally broke his silence.
The two admirals were not passive observers; they immediately followed the action. As high-ranking officers, they couldn't simply stand by in such a situation. Moreover, this was a unique and critical time, with the Shichibukai still present.
In the square below, Kahn's body was engulfed in intense flames. In front of him stood Akainu, looking somewhat disheveled. The battle involving the clash of Conqueror's Haki abilities was far from straightforward.
Kahn, however, was aware that his previous attack hadn't dealt any significant damage to Akainu.
Akainu was furious; being a Navy headquarters Admiral, it was humiliating to be physically overpowered like this.
Akainu transformed into a magma giant and launched a powerful punch at Kahn.
"Great Eruption"
Kahn's right hand had also morphed into a dragon claw, and a blood-red thunderbolt wrapped around it.
"Fire Dragon's Collapsing Fist!"
Their fists collided, creating a dazzling spectacle that had everyone watching in awe.
