When her gaze landed upon his form, still dripping water from his cold swim– The wave of relief that surged through her was indescribable.

Taiga carefully assessed the look that was etched upon her face. As someone who was an expert observationalist of others, the myriad of emotions that he saw written upon her features could not be mistaken. 

She was concerned for him– Worried even. The woman had been scared for him to the point where he could spot signs of sorrow, distress, and respite.

Was this display of emotions for him? He wondered as his heart leapt lightly. Did he matter so much to her?
