Chương 95: The Other Demon

"Sister Huli-jing! I have come to save you!"

The words echoed loudly, verberating through the startled crowd, capturing the attention of every person in the vicinity. They were spoken by a voice as pretty as the sweetest songs sung by the spring nightingales. 

Beautiful and pure, its message was delivered by an unknown stranger.

It set the wild mob into an eerie pause and everyone, including YuXin, stopped to try and locate the source of where the words were heard from.

"Sister Huli-jing! I am right here!"

And just as suddenly, someone in the crowd yelled out, "She's right there! It's another one of her kind! GET HER!!!"

"Don't let it escape!!"

"Come catch me if you can!" the voice hollered out, almost too cheerfully.

The mob descended upon the source of this beautiful voice. Pitchforks, torches and knives in tow, they were determined to kill this other demon.
