Austin Lucas followed Lily Gray into the room.
The setup of the room was simple, with only a table and two chairs.
Lily didn't want to sit, standing by the door when they entered.
Austin closed the door behind them.
The moment the door closed, Lily's body noticeably stiffened a bit.
Austin sat down on the chair, his lips curling upward, with a hint of mockery in the corner of his mouth, "Sit down, don't be so nervous. I'm not stupid enough to do anything to you in a police station."
Lily pressed her lips together and sat down opposite him, her tone cold, "Austin Lucas, what exactly do you want to talk about?"
She didn't think there was anything more to say between them.
"Austin Lucas…" He lazily repeated the way Lily addressed him, "Our separation has only been a few months, and this way of addressing each other feels very unfamiliar."
Lily frowned, "What are you trying to say?"
Austin's attitude today was indeed strange.
