Inside the dressing room, Amelia Cobb took off her wet clothes and threw them into the laundry basket.

Kallie Rayno's gaze had just fallen on the wedding photo on the chest at the end of the bed when the door behind her was opened.

Barely withdrawing her gaze, Amelia caught her unusual emotion. She looked at the photo at the end of the bed following Kallie's gaze and remained silent.

"Dad and my brother are not home, so you can stay over. That way, you won't be bored alone at home."

Amelia said this as she hugged Kallie's shoulder, ready to go downstairs.

Kallie seemed quite shocked, looking at Amelia, "How do you know that dad and brother are not at home?"

A brief stiffness flashed across Amelia's face. She knew William and Jaso were not at home simply because she had someone keeping an eye on them.

Amelia smiled slightly, throwing the blame on Christopher Robinson, probably knowing that Kallie would not ask him for the truth: "Christopher told me."
