When Amelia Cobb retracted her gaze from Sandra Smith, she carried a faint smile that could break through anything, so lazy that Smith's back felt numb.
"Secretary Carter, do you still remember clearly when you met me?"
Sandra's spine tensed, she tugged at her lips, "I don't remember very well, but I do remember meeting you."
Amelia smiled mysteriously and nodded.
Antony Brown took Amelia to a more secluded Thai restaurant, and coincidentally, it was the same place where Christopher Robinson had brought her before.
"Let's eat first," Antony Brown handed her the menu.
Amelia casually flipped through the menu, her face carrying that same indifferent expression throughout.
Lola stood aside, casting a somewhat scrutinizing glance at Amelia.
"If your married life isn't happy, you can consider me," Antony Brown said as he poured Amelia a drink, seemingly carefree.
