How could Christopher Robinson fail to see what Amelia Cobb was thinking at this moment?
This little fox sat obediently and cleverly by his side, pinching her tail and shaking her fluffy ears, appearing completely well-behaved.
But Christopher knew all of that was an act.
"Miss Cobb, what do you want from me?" Christopher asked, casting a half-laughing glance at Amelia.
Amelia subtly curled her lips: "Others fawn over their mothers-in-law, President Robinson hasn't shown any courtesies, so you should at least contribute a large sum of money, right?"
Amelia leaned back in her chair, crossed her arms nonchalantly, chatting with Christopher. Upon hearing Amelia's words, he chuckled quietly, "It seems I need to spend more time building a relationship with my mother-in-law in the future."
"That's for later. For now, President Robinson should be more proactive."
This fox, Amelia, was eyeing the money in his pocket. How could Christopher not see that?
