Four eyes meet.
Before Suzanne could speak and before the neighbor, who had been disturbed by her knocking, could open the door, Mason King quickly pulled the woman, who was swaying and could barely stand in front of the door, inside.
Suzanne staggered into the room, leaning against him as the door closed behind her. She rested her head on his chest and tried to step back, standing straight before looking up at the tall man again, staring at him, glaring at him.
The strong smell of alcohol emanated from the woman; she had clearly been drinking heavily.
Mason's expression grew cold, "You've been drinking?"
Suzanne just stared at him and, after tens of seconds, belched loudly in his face with no politeness at all.
Confronted with his icy glare, Suzanne showed a mysterious smile and tried to walk past him.
But as she walked past him, her arm suddenly tightened, and he pulled her back.
