Chapter 13 Market

Next Day

After waking up and eating breakfast. I was thinking of going to the market to sell off my Goblin stone. I have around 10,000 Goblin stones with some claws etc. The Market I'm going to is Monster Market. You may ask what this market plays role. well aside from buying monster stone at a good price.Monster Market is a highly controversial establishment that has gained notoriety for its unique offerings and questionable practices. Positioned on the outskirts of the city, this market specializes in the trade of extraordinary merchandise, including rare monster stones and demi-human slaves.

One of the main attractions of the Monster Market is the sale of monster stones. These stones are crystallized fragments extracted from defeated monsters, possessing extraordinary magical properties. Adventurers, mages, and collectors alike flock to this market in search of these elusive stones, which can be used to enhance weapons, create powerful potions, or even summon mythical creatures. The Monster Market boasts an impressive selection of monster stones, ranging from humble goblin shards to the highly sought-after dragon heart gems.

However, the market's most controversial aspect is the availability of demi-human slaves. Demi-humans are individuals who possess both human and animal traits, resulting in unique appearances and abilities. Some demi-humans willingly offer themselves for sale, seeking a life of servitude in exchange for shelter and protection, while others may have been captured against their will. This practice raises ethical questions and has sparked heated debates within the community.

Supporters argue that the Monster Market provides demi-humans with a chance at a better life, offering them shelter, food, and companionship. They believe that these individuals, often ostracized by society, have limited opportunities to thrive and may find solace within the confines of the market. However, critics argue that the trade of demi-human slaves perpetuates inequality and dehumanizes these unique beings, reducing them to mere commodities.

Despite the controversy surrounding the Monster Market, it continues to attract a diverse crowd of individuals seeking the extraordinary. The allure of monster stones and the intrigue surrounding demi-human slaves fuel the market's popularity, drawing both enthusiasts and those seeking to challenge its questionable practices. As discussions surrounding the ethical implications of such establishments persist, the Monster Market remains a polarizing presence in the realm, leaving society divided on its role and impact.

I have two reasons to sell my loot there. First you can get a very good price. Second is to find some slave blacksmiths. you know it's really difficult to get good dungeon equipment at a low price.

...#Monster Market#.....

As I stepped into the bustling Monster Market, I found myself surrounded by a myriad of stalls, each offering a unique array of items. The air was filled with the aroma of exotic spices, the sound of haggling voices, and the sight of strange creatures and fantastical beings browsing the wares. It was a world unlike any other, where monsters roamed freely and treasures awaited discovery.

With my Goblin stone securely tucked away in my pocket, I made my way through the market, eager to find a buyer for my precious find. The Goblin stone was a rare gemstone known for its mystical properties and its ability to harness the energy of the Goblin realm. It was said to bring immense luck and fortune to its owner, making it highly sought after in the Monster Market.

After wandering through the labyrinth of stalls, I finally spotted a buyer who seemed interested in my Goblin stone. The buyer was a peculiar creature, with green scaly skin, sharp fangs, and piercing yellow eyes. It was clear that he was no ordinary being, but a monster himself. Nevertheless, I approached him confidently, ready to strike a deal.

As we began our negotiation, I presented my Goblin stone to the buyer, carefully explaining its rarity and the powers it possessed. The buyer inspected the stone closely, his eyes gleaming with anticipation. He nodded approvingly, acknowledging the value of the stone. We haggled back and forth, each trying to secure the best deal possible.

After a bit of bargaining, we finally reached an agreement. I managed to sell my Goblin stone for a staggering price of 1 million yan. It was a moment of triumph and excitement as I handed over the stone to the buyer, knowing that I had made a significant profit from my venture. The buyer, too, seemed satisfied with the transaction, clutching the Goblin stone tightly in his scaly hands.

With the deal complete, I took a moment to soak in the atmosphere of the Monster Market. The stalls around me were filled with a wide variety of items, from enchanted weapons and potions to rare artifacts and mystical artifacts. It was a treasure trove for adventurers and collectors alike, offering endless opportunities for discovery and trade.

As I navigated through the market, I couldn't help but marvel at the diversity of monsters and creatures that populated the area. There were goblins, trolls, ogres, and even dragons, all going about their business, mingling with the human visitors. It was a testament to the harmony and cooperation that existed within this unique marketplace.

The Monster Market was not just a place for trade; it was a hub of cultural exchange and interaction. People from all walks of life, both human and monster, came together to buy, sell, and share their stories. But not all Monsters and humans are cooperative.

As I made my way out of the bustling market, the weight of newfound wealth pressing against my pockets, my mind began to wander. Thoughts of the future danced through my head, and one particular idea took hold: tomorrow, I should seek out a slave lady.

Now, you may find yourself questioning my motives, and rightly so. Allow me to explain. My intention was not to exploit or demean another human being, but rather to offer an opportunity for freedom and a chance at a better life. You see, in this society, many individuals found themselves trapped in the clutches of servitude, their dreams and aspirations stifled by the chains of bondage. By providing financial compensation, I hoped to secure the freedom of a slave lady, granting her the chance to shape her own destiny. And maybe she will be willing to be my Concubine. Now you say.. what the hell man she is your slave , you can do anything with her but let me tell you. The most I hate is forcing someone to do something that they don't want to even if it is a slave.

A skilled blacksmith was a rare find, and their services were highly sought after. By acquiring a slave lady with such talent, I could get my personal blacksmith. But first let's go home.

( Tell me should Rex buy Half-human serpent lady or an elf. Personally I would prefer a Half serpent lady. Hope you like this chapter. Give me Power Stone and give my book review)
