The shadow summoned by Bong spread out throughout Baron's territory, weaving through the darkness in search of the group as described by Bong.
At the same time, Bong himself scanned the land from the sky, his gaze searching for any gathering of evildoers that fit his criteria.
However, the challenge of locating a large group of wrongdoers proved to be difficult. Bong's inner turmoil continued to intensify; he felt a constant tug-of-war between his desire for carnage and his moral conscience.
The struggle between his two personas caused immense turmoil within him, his body and mind caught in a grinding conflict.
With the thinking about conflict he even did not realized that he flew so far in territory of Baron that he found himself amidst a battlefield, witnessing a fierce clash between two warring factions: Crestwood and Silverwood. These territories had a long history of conflict, and the air was filled with the sounds of clashing weapons, battle cries, and the cries of the wounded.
"My, my, what is going on here? A battle in the late night. I can only hear my prey asking for salvation. Shall I be the one to offer it?" Bong mused, his voice a mixture of intrigue and determination.
He commanded his shadow summon to venture to the battlefield and extract details about the ongoing war between the two factions. His purpose was to ascertain which side was more dominant, who possessed the advantage, and who was the weaker force.
Bong wanted to gather all the details so he could make a good plan. He used his shadow summon to secretly attach to the soldiers and learn what was happening. This way, he could see and hear everything they did and understand the situation better.
Amidst the chaos of war, the clash of steel against steel, and the reverberation of magic echoed through the battlefield. Two factions faced each other with determined expressions, their war tents set up on opposite ends.
In one tent, the strategists of Crestwood huddled together, their brows furrowed as they pored over maps and discussed tactics. Their leader's voice rang out, outlining their plan to launch a surprise attack on Silverwood. The element of surprise was their greatest asset, and they believed victory was within reach.
Across the field, in the Silverwood tent, the atmosphere was equally charged. The faction's leaders exchanged wary glances, devising ways to defend against the impending assault. Their mages worked fervently to reinforce magical barriers, while the knights discussed formations to hold the line.
On the battlefield, the clash of swords and the twang of arrows filled the air. Soldiers fought valiantly, their faces etched with determination as they sought to protect their faction. Shields deflected blows, and banners fluttered in the wind as the two sides pushed against each other with unwavering resolve.
As the battle raged on, Bong observed the scene from above, his keen crimson eyes following the movements of the soldiers. The moon cast a shadow upon him as he hovered in front of its radiant glow, a spectral figure witnessing the carnage and massacre below. He could feel the weight of the conflict, the lives at stake on both sides.
His heart beat faster, the scent of blood filling the air, his tongue twisted and eager to taste the crimson liquid that flowed so freely. And in the midst of the chaos, he couldn't help but wonder about the motivations behind the attack. Why would Crestwood initiate this assault? What lay behind the sudden aggression?
Little did Bong know, hidden behind the veil of the battlefield, Seraphina, masquerading as an adventurer, was orchestrating this turmoil. She had exposed the long-standing enmity between Crestwood and Silverwood to exploit it to her advantage. In truth, she sought to divert Crestwood's attention away from her true goal: protecting the innocent village girls from the hand of Baron Valerian.
However, Bong's shadow summon delivered a revelation. It informed him that Seraphina was present in the Silverwood tent, assuming the role of an adventurer. Her true identity remained veiled, but it was not hidden from Bong's shadow summon. Their deep soul connection allowed both Bong and his shadow summon to recognize Seraphina, even in his human form.
"Wait, what? Seraphina is here? So, the opposite faction is Silverwood," Bong exclaimed, his realization hitting him like a sudden revelation.
Bong then established a telepathic connection with Seraphina to gain insight into the unfolding war and her presence within the opposing Silverwood faction.
"Seraphina, what in the world is happening? Why are you there? What's the cause behind this war? Come forward and provide me with answers," Bong's voice echoed urgently.
Upon hearing Bong's voice after such a prolonged period, Seraphina couldn't contain her excitement. She hastily made her way towards Bong in the sky, eager to be in his presence and share the view of the chaotic battlefield.
"Wait, Sera, where are you going?" One of the Captains attempted to halt Seraphina's departure.
"Um... I need to observe the battlefield from a vantage point outside and gather intelligence. Don't worry," she responded with a hasty explanation.
After leaving the tent, Seraphina sought a secluded spot where she could safely transform back into her vampire form. As her wings sprouted from her back and she soared into the sky, a surge of eagerness coursed through her.
It had been such a long time since she had seen Bong, and her heart raced with anticipation. As she approached him, her eyes gleamed with a mix of joy and excitement, sparkling like stars in the night sky.
Ascending into the sky, Seraphina positioned herself in front of the moon, its soft light casting a gentle glow upon them. As she hovered near Bong, her heart seemed to pause, captivated by the sight of him.
The moonlight played upon his Vampire form, adding an ethereal quality to his presence. Upon seeing him, her voice momentarily eluded her, and her eyes danced uncertainly, finding it difficult to meet his gaze.
Bong's unwavering gaze remained fixed upon her, his expression one of both curiosity and familiarity. Slowly, he extended his arm, his fingers curling gently around her waist, drawing her closer to him. The proximity sent a shiver through her, and her breath became unsteady. The moonlight bathed them in its silvery glow, creating a romantic tableau against the backdrop of the night sky.
"Umm.. Um.. Master, you didn't change into your bat form like before. Ohh, ahh.. how stupid I am. I mean... " Her voice faltered so much that she couldn't find the right words to express herself.
Lost in the sight of him, her thoughts became a jumbled mess, leaving her struggling to articulate her feelings.
Bong raised his hand, gently tilting her chin to direct her gaze towards him. In a commanding yet slightly exasperated tone, he questioned.
"What in the world are you doing here? You didn't even bother to inform me." His expression shifted abruptly, revealing his mixture of concern and irritation.
