New Leveling Up Place Discovered.
In the night, under the full moon's glow, a cold breeze swept through the buildings of the Outer Sect disciples. A drunken cultivator stumbled to his home, a neighbor of Liang Chen. He quickly made his way towards his building but caught a strange scent in the air.
"Hmm... what's this smell?" The cultivator followed the scent until he arrived at the spot where Liang Chen had met his end.
"This lake is so beautiful," he mumbled, momentarily distracted by the shimmering waters.
However, his attention was quickly drawn to something else.
"Hole?" He looked down, puzzled, at the hole that had appeared.
"OH, MY GOD!!!"

The next day.
"Pfffff... Pfffff... Pfffff..." Alex was sleeping soundly on his bed, enjoying a peaceful slumber. He had always been a fan of sleep, and this preference hadn't changed in his new life.
KNOCK!!! KNOCK!!! KNOCK!!!
The knocking on his door grew increasingly aggressive.
"Pfffff... Pfffff... Pfffff..."
KNOCK!!! KNOCK!!! KNOCK!!!
The banging continued.
Alex remained asleep, blissfully unaware. In truth, if someone attacked his physical body, his cultivator instincts would awaken him in an instant.

"WAKE UP, SENIOR BROTHER LI!!!" Chang Li burst into the room, his face filled with anxiety.
Alex's eyes snapped open instantly.
"Senior Brother Li, a Grand Elder has ordered us to assemble at the Endless Wilderness Hall."
"Grand Elder?!" Alex's expression turned shocked. "But why?!" He quickly got out of bed and threw on his new robe.
"It seems that someone has died in the Outer Sect," Chang Li explained, worry evident in his voice. "Hurry, Senior Brother Li."
Alex nodded, and both of them rushed towards the exit.

Outside.
Alex saw people emerging from their shacks, their expressions a mixture of concern and confusion. A Grand Elder's summons was a rare occurrence, as they held great power and prestige, comparable even to the Sect Master.
"(What could this be about? Has some disciple managed to attract a Grand Elder's attention?)" Alex was bewildered. He found it hard to believe that any individual disciple, no matter how skilled, could draw the attention of someone as high-ranking as a Grand Elder.
"I hope everything turns out alright," Alex muttered to himself. He knew he was innocent, having done nothing to harm anyone. He just made a few traps, but who knew what cultivators could accomplish if they wanted could?.
"Yes, I hope they quickly identify the culprit. I don't want to live in fear of nighttime attacks. What do you think, Senior Brother Li?" Chang Li voiced his own concerns.
"Yeah." Alex's response was brief as they headed towards the Endless Wilderness Hall.

The Endless Wilderness Hall was massive, with a diameter of at least five kilometers. It was used for testing and sparring, equipped with self-repairing capabilities to withstand the intense battles that took place here. Today, however, it was overcrowded with disciples, including even Outer Elders and Sect Elders., everyone was very confused at why were they here and why were they gathered in this place in particular, this place was used to spar each other, if Elders wanted to gather them they could gather them in a different place all they looked around in confusion.
"Why are we here?" Someone asked, their voice laced with confusion. "I heard someone died in the Outer Sect."
"That's true, but what makes this death different from the others?" another voice chimed in. Deaths were not uncommon in the Outer Sect, after all.
"Silence!" A powerful voice reverberated throughout the hall, causing heads to turn towards the central podium-like structure.
The awe-inspiring presence of a mighty figure bore down on everyone present.
BOOOOM!!!
Groans of discomfort filled the air.
"Auggh..."
"It's so powerful..."
"Auggh..."
People struggled to maintain their posture, with many bowing down instinctively, whether willingly or not.
Alex was among the bowing crowd, although he felt no pressure or presence. He followed suit as he saw others bowing down, puzzled by his inability to sense any aura.

Eyes turned upwards as dark clouds congregated in the open-ceiling hall, forming the figure of a person that descended to the central podium.
This figure exuded an air of godliness, adorned in a golden robe. He was a burly Elder with cold eyes, his age appearing to be around 30 to 35 if not for his white hair. His aura, however, was powerful enough to rival even younger cultivators.
"My name is Grand Elder Bai Xianzun. I have been informed of a murder that occurred in the Outer Sect. Today, I will investigate the one responsible for such a crime against a fellow disciple. And when I discover the perpetrator..." Elder Bai's aura turned frigid, sending shivers through the assembly.
People quivered in fear, feeling as if they were caught in a blizzard.
"I will make them an example to all." Elder Bai's voice grew icy.
The crowd trembled, wondering what this meant.
"I'm here to discuss something else as well. There will be a tournament commencing in the near future. Participants will have the opportunity to enter the Crimson Battle Gate, where they can acquire treasures and enhance their strength. Emerging from the Battle Gate will also grant you immediate Core Disciple status, allowing you to participate in a tournament that will shape our sect's future as the number one under the heavens!" Elder Bai's words thundered across the hall.
A mixture of excitement and anxiety swept over the disciples. The prospect of becoming Core Disciples was exhilarating, a leap from the lower ranks to a prestigious position.
Elder Bai's gaze fell on those who had been sent flying by his aura, he looked at every Outer Sect Disciple that had flew up and said. "Kill them and feed their bodies to the guard dogs." With that command, he ascended into the sky, causing shockwaves to ripple through the area.
Alex restrained Chang Li from being swept away by the shockwaves. "(It seems that other sects have their eyes on our sect. But who cares? This place could become my future training ground.)" A glint of determination flickered in Alex's eyes.
A place where disciples fought and even killed each other, a perfect ground for gaining techniques and leveling up.
