It was late in the night when Micheal finally decided to come back home, he was drunk and staggered his way into their room to turn on the light only to see a wide awake Joanna, sitting up on the bed waiting for him, with her arms folded.

That only meant that she had been awake for a long time waiting for him and that was the truth because she had been calling him for two hours. Joanna was obsessive and a psycho who wouldn't allow him to breathe for a second without whining about something, or someone that pisses her off, especially Amrita.

But what made him avoid her was her overbearing attitude towards him, she acts and cries like a bitch whenever she sees him with a lady. Her insecurity comes from the fact that she seduced her way into the family, using their son as a leverage to buy her name as his wife.

It was obvious that she knew that their marriage was only working because of their son, Diego. Besides, he still has a reputation to keep as the son of Christopher Russo so it wouldn't be funny hearing that he's divorced, his father takes marriage seriously and wouldn't permit him the order to divorce her irrespective of not liking her.

So, it was his fault and he had to live with it for the rest of his life." You are still awake?" He said, nonchalantly acting as if he had no idea that she would be awake. He had known her too long to know what she was capable of doing.

When he stopped in the vanity where he took off his watch, and accessories. He heard the bed creak to know that she was standing up.

"Where were you?" Joanna asked, no, commanded in a rough time that would make any man feel threatened at the attitude his wife was displaying. But she felt that it was her right talking to him this way since he was the first person to disrespect her."I called you, I waited. You promised me that you will be there for us. For the baby, Micheal and at the dying minutes, you left to be with your whore?!" Her voice filled the room, and he hoped that Diego who was staying on the floor wouldn't have passed by to hear them argue.

They were living a fake life where he was, acting like they can't live without each other, just so he wouldn't know that they can't bear each other. Joanna took pride in her son, and wanted his life to be perfect so if that is going to cost her her peace in her marriage, she would happily sacrifice anything for him.

But it doesn't mean that she was planning on dying from getting stds from the amount of women that clustered around her husband everyday. No, that's the last thing that would kill her.

"I apologized already, Joanna, then i sent Diego over. So why make a fuss about something not important?" Micheal said, moving away from her in an attempt to go to the bathroom. All he needed right now was to rest but Joanna has other plans by dragging him back.

"I wasn't done talking, don't walk out on me, Micheal!" She yelled at him, which was a mistake that Micheal couldn't tolerate her attitude anymore before he raised his hand on her, and she fell to the bed, holding her cheeks where he slapped her.

"I see you have a death wish, tell me? Is this a plan with your brother to frustrate my life until i die so you can take over my property, you greedy cunt!" He yelled, kicking the chair he saw that was close making her jump where she sat at the foot of the bed, tears trailing down her face while she watched him throw ill profanities her way.

He hit her!

She was carrying his baby, and he didn't care for that, he didn't care that she might lose her baby and yet he raised his hand on her.

He came closer to where she was on the bed, while she scooted away from him, he was drunk and drunk Micheal was not a pretty sight to see, he might beat her till she loses her child.

"Joanna, why make me appear as such a bad husband, huh?" He asked, and when he didn't like the way she was moving away from him, he dragged her back to him by her feet while she screamed in fear.

This wasn't the first time he's acted this way with her, if anything she could say that he hit her too when she was pregnant with Diego. The motherfucker has a fetish hitting pregnant women, but she would be the last person to let his father or brother know about it, Micheal might be an abuser but she wouldn't live to see the day where Amrita relinquish in the fact that she's pitiful.

"Let me go! You are hurting me." She cried, when he snatched her up by her hair while she wrapped her hand protectively around her stomach.

He scoffed at her actions as if that was going to protect her, if he wanted the child out there's nothing she can do to stop that but then he remembered that that would be going overboard. She might be a bitch, but he still has a great use for her. Afterall, she was his secretary before she turned his wife, so she knew everything about his work and had always been the master planner behind everything he was right now.

"I'm sorry, forgive me, baby." He apologized, kissing her exposed neckline that has a deep curve of her cleavage peeking out from the nightwear she was wearing.

She smacked her teeth together in angst, she can't believe that he's trying to sleep with her after dipping his dick in some disease walking whore. So, she pushed him away from her, before going to lie on the bed, while he stood where he stood watching her cry.

Micheal doesn't seem to be bothered about that, since he knew that she wouldn't leave him even if he wanted her too, this was their twisted fate. So, he ignored her to do his hygiene for the night before falling next to her on the bed and was out for the night while it took a whole lot of patience in Joanna not to choke him to death in his sleep, but this wasn't the right time to do that.

Eventually, he's going to die by her hands but not tonight.
