AT THEIR FATHER'S OFFICE
"Congratulations Mr. Stanton, you saved the company" ani ng isa sa mga workmates ni Mr. Stanton.
"I will never make an alliance to McKenny Motors Tessa" sabi naman ni Mr. Stanton sa kanyang sekretarya. Halata sa mukha nito ang inis at dismaya dahil sa di inaasahang pagka-plano ni Mr. Stanton.
"I believe in you Sir" aniya sa plastikong paraan. Agad naman itong lumabas at nagpunta sa elevator kung saan siya lang mag-isa.
Dialing…
"Hello Mr. M?"
"Tell me it's a good news"
"It's contrary Sir. He made an alliance with The Esteban Incorporation. The company known for petroleum and oil."
"What? At hindi mo yan nalaman?"
"Hindi niya ito inutos sakin. In fact, we all didn't know about the deal."
"Then I guess I will make things in my own too. You're useless!" anito bago patayin ang cellphone. Napamura nalang si Tessa sa inis.
AT THE BASKETBALL COURT
"What? That's unpredictable" sigaw ni Stan. We are practicing now; passing ball while running.
"Lower your voice." sinabi ko sa kanya na si Aden ang future husband ni Asha but I didn't tell him that I am in undercover. It's better this way.
"You should start being good to him. As a future brother-in-law" biro niya.
"Nah, I'm fine."
Because we are running sideways hindi ko namalayang may mababangga akong tao. I lost my balance at napa-upo ako sa sahig.
It was blurry for a second and I saw someone offered his hand but when I saw kung sino yun I just swayed his hand and stand on my own. "You again, Aden?"
