The Simmons family on the other hand, would be protected by the Sirens today and the 2nd Amendment tomorrow. 

Hopefully, in the event of my death, those who would come after my 2nd family would lose interest. 

It was already Thursday, so I had three days and two nights before the war. The other groups were settling down, and once I get the Sirens a stable income, I could fight without any regrets.

The Sirens were a powerful group, and I was sure they would eventually join the front lines. Making the devil's remains into jewelry would be my last gift to them. If even Specters were susceptible to soul collapse, then the girls would need them. 

I knew that what I was doing was not the best course of action, but humans were hardly logical. My current situation was similar to someone about to undergo a life-threatening operation. 

Even though I planned to resist as much as I could, it was just stupid not to prepare for what would happen if I died.
