Chương 2: The Prohibition Of Taste
One day later
'FUCKl I'm starving to death, why did I choose that prohibition! prohibition of taste is the worst, this isn't about just losing your sense of taste. It's that the taste of everything thing that goes into my mouth would taste disgusting. Not only the taste of food but alse their texture, from the fruits that I pick I could even feel wriggling insect's body fluids' Nathan thought as he look at the blue sky.
"Should I quit?" Nathan said and suddenly slaps his face " No I can't this is once in a life time chance that I can't miss"
After saying that Nathan quickly stood and look for any kind of things that will increase his chance of surviving in this land.
He started picking some stone, wood and lastly some thick leaves.
"Now the next thing that I need to do is find some cave that I will call home for the next years or maybe just months" Nathan said as he started to look for caves.
After spending 1 day in this unknown land, Nathan got some general idea what kind of land or world is this.
Yesterday after Dorr left him into this unknown land, Nathan immediately encountered an animal that he never saw on earth, but this animal always mentioned in some kind of novel or manga.
This anime is just like your everyday rabbit but with a horn in the middle of their forehead.
When Nathan saw this he tried petting it in the head but before Nathan can touch the bunny's head, the rabbit quickly attacked him by dishing towards Nathan.
Of course Nathan was so shocked because of the behavior of the rabbit but to his another shock, he easily dodge it.
'What? this, this maybe the reflex and agility of the strongest people on earth, not bad' Nathan thought while processing why would the rabbit attacked him.
Tightening his grip in his knife, Nathan suddenly charged at the rabbit while pointing his knife.
When Nathan was close to the rabbit, he suddenly closed his eyes, not wanting to kill the rabbit but at the sametime he wants to quickly adjust his mindset about killing because he has a feeling that if he did not immediately change hos mindset about killing, he will end up dead in this unknown land.
*Stab*
The knife easily went through the rabbit's chest. Blood started to leak from the rabbit's chest. When Nathan felt that he successfully stab the rabbit, he slowly open his eyes revealing to himself the dead rabbit because of him.
When Nathan saw this he immediately felt something on his stomach slowly climbing towards his chest and suddenly...
*Blurrr*
"Fuck, I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry" Nathan said as he wipping some saliva in the side of his mouth.
After a few seconds he grabbed the handle of the knife and slowly pulled out his knife on the chest of the rabbit while the blood leaking out.
"Should I drain his blood and eat him or burry him?" Nathan said.
After thinking about the pros and cons, Nathan decided to drain the rabbit's blood to cook and eat.
Even though this is against his moral, he needed the rabbit's meat to survive in this unknown land.
After successfully draining the rabbit's blood, he looked for some kind of thick vines to use as an temporary rope.
while looking for some thick vines, he encountered more animals or we should call it a beast animal, like a giant rat, a dog size rat. Of course he successfully killed it but decided not to eat it.
(Note: he is carrying the dead rabbit while looking for the vines)
because of the forest rough environment, Nathan needed to move more and become of that he quickly ran out of energy to use, his thirst also begin to rise because of his continuous running around the forest.
Now his priority change into finding some clean and safe water to drink.
After more than 10 minutes of looking for a stream of water, Nathan finally found one.
He saw tiny pond surrounded by a giant boulder with some moss.
Nathan slowly approaches the pond while looking in his surrounding to make sure that he is safe while drainking some water.
When Nathan was finally infort of the pond, he saw a crystal clear water. When seeing this Nathan thought was to quickly drank some of the water.
That was Nathan do, but because of this he suffered.
Nathan slowly scoops some watwr by using his hands and finally drank some of it.
When the water touched his tongue he immediately spit the water.
"FUCK WHY THE TASTE LIKE THAT!!" Nathan shouted as loud as he can while coughing. He suddenly remembered his first prohibition.
The prohibition of taste.
When the water touches his tongue he tasted the water as some kind of oil with mix of shit, the texture he felt was like a sand that's why he quickly spit it.
"Fuck this maybe the worst starting prohibition I can get, now I need to endure this feeling when drinking or even eating, fuck my life" Nathan murmured while thinking about the future, thinking that he can't enjoy the taste of every food while he has this prohibition.
'I picked this because I thought that every food I will eat will become tasteless, I didn't know that this is the effect of this prohibition' Nathan thought while staring the the pond.
"Well I need this to survive" Nathan said and he scoop another water with his hand and drank it.
While drinking it he was fighting the urge to spit it and after suffering from drinking a tiny bit of water he scoop another water and drank it.
Back to the present.
Nathan started to walk carefully to the direction towards the mountain range he saw before.
While walking, Nathan suddenly heard some noise from one of the tree. When he heard this he immediately jump in some kind of bush while laying with his stomach on the ground.
A few seconds before he saw a large tiger looking around the dense forest. When Nathan saw this he didn't believe at first that what he just saw a car size tiger walking around.
He quickly fight the urge to run away from where he is while trembling in fear. But suddenly the ground shook like a giant was walking towards them.
'What the hell? Earthquake?' Nathan thought while still fighting the urge to ran away.
In the next moment this situation will leave a trauma in our main character's mind.
He the tiger being stepped on by large fucking Tyrannosaurus. A Tyrannosaurus with a size of two story house.
When Nathan saw this he almost pissed to his short because of how scared he is from the tyrannosaurus.
But to his relief the tyrannosaurus just walked away minding his own business.
'Bet he didn't even notice that he killed the tiger' Nathan thought when he saw the dinosaur walking away like nothing happen.
"Looks like my guess were correct, I'm in some kind of magical land where monsters or beast existed, now how the fuck I am gonna survive in this world" Nathan spoke while walking out on the bushes.
But Nathan didn't know that Dorr gave him a perk like ability when he got his first prohibition that will help him surviving in this unknown land.
