A popup screen suddenly appeared after Blue left the area.
'Congratulations, Xavier, for completing the mission and a hidden mission!'
'Mission Evaluation: S grade'
'Since you are the first to achieve S grade in the world, you will receive an extra reward.'
'Reward: Points - 500, Old Amber, 20,000 pokecoins , Tower pass(3)'
'You can now choose any move your Pokemon has learned. Please make a selection!'
Xavier's excitement soared as he saw the S grade evaluation and realized he was the first to achieve it. Upon viewing the rewards, he noticed the Old Amber, which he knew to be an Aerodactyl fossil.
Xavier quickly grasped that this fossil must be the additional reward, as Mr. Johnson had explained in class that completing missions granted tower runners points and pokecoins . Only grade B and above received extra tower passes.
Regarding the moves, Mr. Johnson had informed them that a tower runner would receive a move as a reward only when achieving a D grade or above. However, there was a catch to it. A D grade evaluation would grant a move with a power of up to 30, while a C grade evaluation would allow a move with power up to 60. For B grade, they could choose a move with power up to 80, and for A grade, a move with power up to 120. As for an S grade evaluation, there were no records of the type of moves awarded.
Regarding the moves with no power, they were divided into four categories: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Expert moves.
For a C grade evaluation, the choices were limited to Basic moves such as Tail Whip, Growl, Roar, Bide, and more.
A B grade evaluation could select from Intermediate moves like Acid Armour, Agility, Amnesia, Barrier, Bulk Up, and others.
An A grade evaluation had access to Advanced moves including Recover, Aromatherapy, Belly Drum, Disable, Protect, and more.
As for S grade evaluations, there were no records .
According to Mr. Johnson, tower runners believed that moves like Teleport, Gravity, and moves that influence the surrounding, such as Rain Dance, Sunny Day, Electric Terrain, Grassy Terrain, and more, would only be accessible to those who received an S grade evaluation.
Imagining someone using these expert moves in real life would indeed be a spectacle to behold. In the real world, moves work differently compared to the pokemon world, as they adapt in response to real-world situations.
Xavier couldn't help but feel a tinge of regret as he wished he had a pokemon that knew one of the expert moves. However, with Night Slash being the best move he had at the moment, he decided to choose it without hesitation.
In the storage, a CD-like structure materialized, representing Night Slash. Xavier recalled that this was similar to the Technical Machines (TMs) he used in his previous life's pokemon game.
