(Third Person POV)
Vistarion, Alakitashia, Hundreds of Miles Away From Jason's Current Location
In the palace of the capital, Emperor Spriggan, or rather, Zeref, was standing in his room when he looked outside the window.
"Hm...." He said, "What's this?"
He stared off into the sky for several seconds, in deep thought.
"Oh my." Zeref said, "A terrifying creature was just brought into this world...."
"Your Majesty...." He turned around to see August approaching
"August.." He said, "You felt it too?"
August nodded, "Yes." He said, "What do you need me to do?"
Zeref then shrugged, "Nothing." He said, "Oh, about Jason....I feel like it's too late. Tell Erigor that he's the new Shield."
August nodded, "Of course." He said, "He'd be delighted to know."
Zeref smiled, "Of course." He said, "I think it's better if I have a loyal Etherious acting as my shield than a man we don't know..."
"Understood.." August said, "If I may speak, the whole plan wasn't to make Jason a Shield, was it?"
Zeref shook his head, "Not necessarily. Now that he's here...."
"He isn't in Ishgar...So we attack fast."
*******************************************
Back to where Irene and Jason were, they were looking up at the massive black dragon that began to fly around the sky, roaring.
Jason looked at Irene, "What do you mean that's Erion?!" He exclaimed
Irene slowly stood up, "In case you didn't know..." She sniffed, "I'm a dragon..."
"I know that..." Jason said, "But..."
"Then you must also know that Dragons have advanced aging up until they reach a certain point...." Irene said, "Once they hit the right age, they stop aging."
Jason looked at her, "But..." He said, "That's one big ass dragon! Not a newborn!!"
Irene looked down, "After all the hard-work....months of enchantments...." She said, "I didn't want my child to be a dragon....I cannot believe this..."
"Why is Erion an adult Dragon!?" Jason asked
"I don't know!" Irene responded, "I....I believe it's because he's a hybrid, maybe.....maybe that convoluted the aging....I don't know....my calculations.....I...I can't believe this is happening..."
Jason looked up to see Erion fly towards several airships that were slowly flying away from the palace. He assumed they were merely mobilizing due to the order of war.
Erion then immediately flew through them, causing several explosions as he crashed through several airships.
"M'Lady!" Heine said, "The dragon....erm..E-Erion!! He's attacking our ships!!"
Irene looked up as tears rolled down her cheeks, "No..."
They all watched as Erion began to fly towards all the airships, attacking them; flying through them and swinging his massive and strong arms at them, ripping through the ships. The soldiers on the ships were frantically running around in a panic.
Some of them were shooting back, attempting to deter the massive dragon that was flying around in a rampage, destroying ship after ship as it let out a massive roar and a dark aura.
Jason had his eyes widened, completely baffled at how this turned out. He was not expecting any of this to happen. He just learned that Irene was pregnant all this time and he came to see. Irene gave him an ultimatum; become her husband and the 12th Shield or he was unable to see his own son.
But now, it has come to this. His son was a dragon that was currently flying around in a rampage.
"Shit...." He said as he sweated, "W-What do I do?"
Erion, the Dragon, was flying around, shooting what looked like black beams at his surroundings, causing massive explosions.
Jason narrowed his eyes, feeling something familiar with those beams of lights that were being shot from the dragon's mouth.
He then widened his eyes, "W-What?" He said, "That's....that's my black light!!!"
This was true, the power that Erion, the Dragon, was using was none other than Jason's Black God Slayer's black light of pure power. He was shooting it indiscriminately, causing massive explosions, destroying several ships of Irene's fleet.
"M'Lady!!" Heine implored, "We must do something!!"
Irene slowly got up, "Y-Yes..." She said wiping her tears away, "Deploy the barriers around the docks! Do not let him destroy our ships."
Heine and Juliette nodded as they disappeared, they had teleported away to carry out their orders.
Jason looked up at Erion, who continued to fly around the sky, smacking away the magic projectiles that were being thrown at him. He also noticed that his dark metallic spikes, unlike the Nergigante he was familiar with, were completely pitch black, similar to the Ruiner version. But Erion had a completely black body, his scales were darker than night.
Jason then looked at Irene, "H-Hey.." He said
Irene looked at him, "I must prevent him from destroying my army." She said as she walked past him, "Do as you wish, Jason. I no longer need you."
Jason grabbed her hand, stopping her, "You can't do much in your condition." Jason said seriously, "You just gave birth."
Irene looked at him, "Let go of me." She said, "I will calm my son down and I will board my ship and march towards Ishgar. There is nothing you will be able to do, Jason."
He narrowed his eyes, "Like I'll let you." He said, "I won't let you keep my son, Irene."
"Try me." She growled with a glare
Suddenly, they felt a massive and terrifying magic power that overrode Erion's which was already massive. They looked up at the sky to see the clouds darken and crackle with electricity.
Jason felt the massive aura, he hadn't felt it before but was well aware of who or what it could belong to. It was so thick and heavy, so full of destructive and absolute power. Yes, Jason was well aware of who it belonged to. Even if he hadn't felt it before.
Irene widened her eyes, "No!" She said, "It can't be..."
Jason looked up at the skies to see a dark-winged figure emerge from the clouds as they parted. He saw another massive black dragon approaching.
"S-Shit..." He managed,
"Acnologia..."
