Ansh POV
With that madness over. Everyone go back to talking to each other and filling their stomach.
*knock knock* "2 omelette of 2 eggs each along with a glass of warm milk."
"What was that?" Padma asks from my side.
"Well I don't like anything that's present here, so I order a separate dinner for myself."
"You can do that?" she asks with a shocked expression.
"Don't know. *shrugs* I just do it."
"Well I have got to try that tomorrow. The breakfast here sucks." She says with a smile.
'Maybe she doesn't like that bland food either.'
"You shouldn't be picky with your food. And this is supposed to be a school not a circus, better remember that lest you get expelled."
I look in front of me a little to the right and see the figure of one Hermione Granger. 'Here comes the little Ms. Know it all.'
"And what, be like the one beside you and stuff everything in my mouth." I point at Ron and ask.
At that her face scrunches up in disgust and she spats "Not like him. Animals eat more properly than him."
"Well I am a really choosy person, can't do anything about it. And regarding my expulsion, I think looking at my stunt on the first day it should be pretty clear that I don't fear about that. But it warms my heart to see you care, I knew you were a true friend of mine."
"Well you should be scared about that. And I forgot the moment I became friends with you. I would rather stay away from a troublemaker like you."
"So you're the shy type I see." *nod head* "Don't worry my friend, I understand that while you may say harsh words, in the depths of your heart you truly care about me."
"So you're delusional as well, I see. I ca-"
"Later Hermione, as you can see my food just arrived and I would rather it doesn't go cold." With that said I give my full focus to my dinner.
'She is worried about my brain expelling me from school.' I chuckle at that thought. 'But man it sucks that I wouldn't be able to meet a few of the canon characters like Luna or Astoria or Vold-' at that thought I suddenly remember and look over to the teacher's table to find a face.
'Looks like Voldi is here as well. Forgot about him completely. Well not that he matters to me. I would rather cast one more spell than waste my time on him.'
With my dinner done I get up and began heading out of the great hall and walk towards my room when it suddenly hit me, my room got burned earlier. So where the heck is my new room? So I turn around and head towards the teacher's table and approach Filius.
"Professor, about my accommodations…."
"Ah right, don't worry. Your room was restored to its previous condition, and your belongings are all safe. Your trunk had protection ruins over it so it didn't get damaged. Take your room key from Ms. Clearwater, she has it for safekeeping."
I thank the dude and approach my prefect for my keys.
"Hello there Penelope, I believe you have something that belongs to me." I say with my charming smile.
"Did this twerp just try to hit on you?" one of her friends mocks me which causes others to laugh at me.
"No you idiot, she has the key to my room. And I want it back." 'yep, I don't like her at all.'
"Here you go. And try not to burn your room tonight." Penelope passes the key to me.
"Penelope, your friend here has such a lovely voice." I say to her friend.
"Aw, did I make you fall for me with my voice? Sorry but how about you grow up a bit before trying. Maybe in 5 years?" comes her response which causes all her friends to snicker. I can even see Penelope trying to stifle a laugh.
"Too bad her face doesn't match her voice." I say and began walking away.
"Di-did that kid just make fun of me?" She asks her friends after a few seconds.
"You actually got rejected by a firstie. Hahaha, oh my god, this is the best thing that happened today." Her friend by her side spoke rubbing salt on her burn.
"Oh I will rip hi-"
"No you will not. Leave him now, you walked into that one on your own." Penelope says, cutting off her friend.
Leaving all that behind I just walk to my room to rest and actually check my belongings. 'let's see what my brain provided me.'
'Wow, gotta hand it to those elves, they made it seem like nothing happened here. Should I be scared about that? Like, you can kill someone and have those elves take care of the cleaning part and no one will ever get to know what happened.'
*sigh* 'Too bad they don't have the beauty of an elf. Maybe that's why they are called 'House Elves'? If so, are there REAL elves as well here? Well even if they aren't I can just imagine them into existence hehehe.'
Leaving my inner monologue behind, I look towards all my stuff. And there seems to be a lot of it. 'Makes sense actually, if we are focusing on realism I never got how those kids could survive a whole year with just a single trunk.'
I pull out the first one in front of me open it up.
'Books, books, books and look some parchment. Wow now that's really thick. I always wanted to try writing on these once. So this looks to be the one holding all my school supplies seeing as it has those potion supplies as well. Wait, is this a quill? Wow, it looks so beautiful.' I never expected a peacock feather quill to be so amazing. This looks awesome. And the best part, all of my quills were like this.
'Good job brain. I forgive you for the food because of this.'
After looking at it for a bit more I keep it aside for now and pull out my next trunk.
'Okay so this one has my clothes for the summer. At least they seem comfortable.'
Checking out the remaining ones they seem to just contain more clothes for different seasons. And a bag…..'or should I call it a satchel. Well, not like I have to carry half my weight in there like in school, there's mostly just two classes in a day.'
The last trunk contained basic necessities and some food.
With that aside, I now focus on the main thing. Learning some spells.
Have some idea about my story? Comment it and let me know.
A pretty normal chapter with nothing exciting, I know. But I want to focus a bit on his daily life as well, so there will be chapters like this sometimes.
