“I should have come out. I heard them talking while I was in the kitchen, but I wanted you to handle it,” Kaitlyn said, throwing a rag on the bar. “I knew when Paul called out that this was going to happen. I’d hoped I was wrong. Obviously, though, I wasn’t.”
“It’s not your fault, Kaitlyn. I’m pretty sure they’d done the same to you. Whether or not they knew you run the place,” Carrigan said, putting all the glasses together and throwing away the scraps and remains of an appetizer.
“I would have kicked them out if it was me. They’re banned from now on. No way in hell am I letting anyone deal with that nonsense.” Kaitlyn rolled her eyes. “Or we could tell them they are welcomed back and throw them on Nina and Paul.”
Carrigan’s eyes widened. “Kaitlyn, oh my God. No, do not let them back into Charm!”
