"Let's hope that that this hurts way less than I think that it will." Mill had been falling for a while and could finally see the bottom of the hole fast approaching. He couldn't see anything to cushion his fall so he braced himself for the impact and when he hit the ground.
Boing! Boing! Mill didn't feel hard ground instead the ground kind of softly accepted him and bounced him a bit into the air. When he stopped bouncing Mill felt the ground beneath himself and noticed that it was made of some sort of durable and yet soft material. "Well, that was nice of them." Mill got up and looked around for any of his clones but couldn't see them anywhere. "Guess they went away when I calmed down. Now, where do I go next?" Mill looked around the room that he fell and saw a corridor that looked like it led out of the room.
"Perfect!" Mill struggled to walk on this room's weird floor but made it out rather quickly and followed the hallway. "I hope this leads me to everyone else seeing as they most likely have no idea if I'm alive or dead." Mill continued to move down this hallway that was surprisingly straight for what was supposed to be a maze, but that didn't bother him. Mill looked down at his hands as he walked as this entire time, he had been thinking about how the wind felt as it blew against him.
Even through his clothes it felt chilly like it was hitting bare skin and that it sounded quite loud for normal wind. 'Is this another one of my abilities or is this just the wind in this dungeon being weird? I can't tell.' Mill continued to stopped walking and closed his eyes. 'If it's from my ability then I should be able to control it to some degree. What if I try to enhance my hearing?' Mill concentrated on his senses and tried to focus the hardest on his hearing.
After a few seconds he could no longer feel the wind on his skin as strongly, but it did get louder, and he heard more. He heard bugs crawling, water dripping, and what sounded like battle. Blades hitting flesh and things hitting walls and floors. 'What's going on?' It was then that he heard an unmistakable voice. "I said I did!" Mill opened his eyes and looked down the hallway that he was in. "Lua." A smile appeared on Mill face as he started to run. His heart rate accelerating as he did so as lightning started to pop from around him. He ran faster and faster and got more and more excited at the idea that he was finally going to meet up with his party members again. The lightning crack more and more wildly and his smile kept getting bigger and brighter.
After a few more minutes Mill made it to an opening at the end of the hallway and stopped to look for his friends. While looking through, he saw that he was quite high up and in a large open room, but the most important thing was that he saw them. Lua, Darren, and Karl were all in the center of this room while surrounded by what looked like half giants that were rotting from here. His friends had been locked inside of some sort of cage made of darkness magic, but Mill wasn't worried because he was just so excited to see his friends again that when he saw one of the half giants get ready to crush them, he shot forward at a speed that he had never moved before and chopped it's head off as he spoke to his friends.
"Damn, I disappear for a few hours, and you all get yourselves in a situation like this." Just as he said that he had already land and jumped again landing on a wall when he saw another one of the half giants getting ready to attack and leaped forward and chopped that ones head off as well as he flew toward another wall and landed on it and then jumped in front of his friends.
....
"Where the hell were you this whole time?!" Lua started to yell at Mill as she grabbed his collar weakly. "If we failed this test because you were sitting on your ass somewhere then I'll beat you to the ground myself!" Lua looked at Mill's face and saw that even though she was yelling at him, he was still smiling.
"I missed you all too, Lua." Mill said as he gently rubbed Lua's head before she knocked the hand away. "That's not what I said." Mill laughed and then turned to Karl and Darren. "I can only assume that this is how she's been most of the time that I was gone." Darren and Karl both gave light chuckle as they both nodded. "Pretty much." Darren spoke while holding his arm. "Woah, what happened to your arm?" Mill said as he pointed at Darren's arm.
"Oh this." Darren said as he lifted the arms slightly, "This was the result of me trying to hold off two half giants by myself, but it's really no big deal." It was now that Mill noticed that all of his friends had some pretty bad injuries on them. "A lot must've happened while I was gone." Mill said as he expressed his worry for his friends. Karl was smiling at Mill when he saw one of the half giants getting ready to step on Mill. "Mill look out!" Lua and Darren also saw it but couldn't do anything as they were too injured. "Hold on, Karl. I just want to say something to you guys quickly. I'm really..." It was at this moment that the half giant's foot had slammed onto Mill causing the others to panic until they noticed that Mill was high in the air. Mill did a backflip landing on the ceiling and used his lightning to propel himself straight through the half giant's neck and land in front of his friends again.
"Sorry about that and I'm sorry that I didn't come back sooner." Mill's friends had their mouths opened in shock. Mill had just casually taken out three of the half giants that they were struggling against all by himself. They had been ignoring it before but now that it happened again, they couldn't deny it. "Oh, one second." Mill disappeared from his friends' vision and appeared on the shoulder of the last half giant as he put his hand on its face and sent a powerful and violent wave of lightning through its body, charring it completely. Mill jumped down and the half giant fell on its back afterwards as he went back to his friends, who were now looking at Mill like he was a freak.
"Mill." Darren said completely perplexed by what he just saw. "What the hell just happened?" Mill looked at Darren with his head tilted to the side. "What do you mean? I came back to you guys and killed all of the half giants. I mean it's not that complicated." Mill shrugged as he responded. "I'm just glad that all of you are okay."
"Congratulations, Lua. You're no longer the freakiest one in the group." Karl said as he patted Lua on the back. Lua punched Karl in the chest while still staring at Mill. "Um, hello? You do know that I'm still here, right?" Mill turned around and finally noticed Cren for the first time. "Have you been there this whole time?" Mill quickly asked causing Cren to flinch in anger. "Of course, I've been here this whole time. I'm the boss of this dungeon. Can't you tell?" Cren said through gritted teeth.
"The boss? Oh, so you must be the master that the death knight was talking about." Cren looked shocked. "Y-you were the one that defeated Sir Lokk?" Milled nodded. "All by yourself?" Mill nodded again. "I see." Cren cleared his throat and darkness magic started to pour out of him. "Then you must pay for killing not only my puppets but my favorite pet as well, boy." Mill's smile grew again as the lightning popped around him more intensely.
"Good!" Mill held his two daggers out and got into a battle stance. "I've been wanting to find a way to use all of this energy!" Cren and Mill stared each other down when Mill once again disappeared from sight. Mill had landed on a wall behind Cren and was now charging forward at a high speed when he hit Cren barrier with his daggers.
"Let's get this party started!"
