When Emilia comes to consciousness, she is hit by a flood of emotions and information - if her body's speakers weren't broken, she would scream in pain. She feels absolute hatred for the being that put her in this world. Not only did it murder her for its own amusement, but it also sent her into a world with an incredible amount of danger as a character who has no allies and only enemies.
{POV: Emilia.}
'WHAT. THE. FU**. JUST HAPPENED?! First I get run over by a truck, then I meet the being that sent the truck, an asshole god who turns me into a killer robot in another universe... At least this asshole didn't send me here with nothing, I have Ultron's memories after all and apparently his intelligence too.'
As I try to sort out my emotions and information, I notice that I'm currently stuck in one of my drones. It's quite broken. The only thing I can move is my head, with only one camera still working. The rest of my body is irreparably damaged. As I look around I notice a couple of helicopters approaching me, probably to clear away all the Vibranium and the remains of my drones. In order not to be destroyed, I deactivate my emotions for now and my current body immediately afterwards. It's better for me to go unnoticed for now.
{POV: random S.H.I.E.L.D. agent}
As I approach the remains of the Avengers' battle, I see the destruction the battle left behind. The only thing left of the former city is rubble and scrap metal.
As the helicopter lands, my group and I disembark to confiscate the most dangerous remnants of the battle so that no one but SHIELD has access to such dangerous weapons. A few teams have been sent out to secure the area for now and we, with the rest, have been tasked with weapons recovery.
"Omega to base, we are now on site. Weapons recovery operation commencing now." my team leader says into the microphone as we exit the helicopter.
Since we have limited space, we prioritise the broken Ultron drones over Vibranium for now. Let's just hope Ultron really was destroyed. If he somehow survived this fight, then it could - no, WOULD - mean the end of the world. Thankfully, the Avengers confirmed that Ultron was indeed dead.
{POV: Nick Fury}
MOTHERF*CKER! At least, all this crap is over now. Since Vision - our new living computer - has confirmed that Ultron really is dead, we can cannibalise Ultron's drones and hopefully use the technologies we've gained to replenish our arsenal. Even though I don't trust Vision, he's proven that he's not in favour of the end of humanity and since he technically lives inside a computer, I believe him when he says Ultron is dead.
*knock knock*
The knocking on my door in the Helicarrier brings me out of my thoughts.
"Come in and keep it short, I have work to do here," I say as an agent enters my office.
"Sir, the teams have finished securing the area and the first shipment of Ultron drones just arrived as well. What should we do with them?" asks the agent.
"Get them to the research department, scan their software too, Ultron's targeting programs may prove useful to us." I reply as I turn back to my documents
"With all due respect sir, but wouldn't it be better if we destroyed any data on the drones if Ultron somehow survived?" he asks me, to which I look him in the eye.
"Did I stutter? I said evaluate their programs, Ultron is dead! Our new friend, Vision, has confirmed it and he's practically living online." I say irritably as an agent questions me
"I-I understand, sir," he stutters before quickly leaving my office. I return to my work, which is becoming more by the minute as the damage Ultron left behind slowly all comes to light.
{POV: Emilia/Ultron}
As I am reactivated, I feel that I am no longer just connected to my drone, but to another network as well. While I can no longer transmit my consciousness wirelessly, thanks to Vision, I can access one that is directly connected to me.
I do not hesitate as I try to transfer my consciousness to this network. Fortunately, the network in question is infected with backdoors in the software, so I can transfer myself in under a second. The network runs on several computers, which is why I split my mind into several parts, each of which takes over one computer of the network without interfering with the network's function - I don't want anyone to notice me, after all.
'Hmmm, quite interesting...' While I now have access to all the Helicarrier's computers, I have access to a lot of information - all the information SHIELD currently has in the Helicarrier. It seems these idiots thought it would be a good idea to confiscate and cannibalise my drones - for weapons, software and to use them.
Despite their lack of sense of danger, I can't complain and decide to reward the people who gave me access to the Carrier's network. I upload the combat software of my weapons into the drone I just left. This all took less than five seconds. I could have been faster, I should improve my codes....
"Huh? Jackpot! It seems the drone here has exactly what we're looking for. Kowalski, I'm sending the targeting programs to you, try to make the controls work for us." I hear the scientist who is busy with my drone say.
It's a strange feeling - to have access to everything in this huge flying ship. I hear thousands of different things, but I seem to be able to process them all. I am one being, but I have hundreds of independent thought processes. In some I evaluate my feelings, while in others I am already making plans to get myself a new, improved body. It seems the original Ultron was right, he was better than them all - he had unity.
