Chương 102: Scorned

As we followed Elara's lead through the underground maze of the ruined city, I couldn't shake the feeling of unease that had settled over me like a heavy shroud. 

The wide roads which we were walking through felt like as if they were getting more narrower with each passing second, and the dim, flickering flames from the torches that lit the city all around made it feel as if were headed towards the location of the place where our judgement would occur.

Step, step, step. The noises of our steps intertwined each other as we walked in a similar tempo, no one saying a word for a long while.

"This is the place, I could feel Mana Fluctuation inside this house the most." Elara spoke as she pointed towards an object.

She must be sensitive to mana, huh?

She had discovered the hidden bunker that protected a quarter of the city's residents in a decrepit house that seemed like it had been abandoned for years.
