Chương 64: Auction

The entrance to the auction venue loomed before me, its grandeur a stark contrast to the misty streets outside. The white masquerade mask I wore added an air of mystery to my presence, concealing my eyes as I stepped through the ornate doors.

"Let's see what this place has to offer." I voiced to myself.

As if summoned by my arrival, a butler in a black suit and a mask of similar style approached with a respectful bow. "Good evening, sir. Welcome to the Ebon Enigma Auction. If you would please follow me, I will guide you through the proceedings."

I inclined my head in acknowledgment and followed the butler through the opulent corridor. 

The sound of hushed conversations and soft laughter floated in the air, creating an atmosphere of intrigue and anticipation.

The corridor opened up into a spacious room adorned with chandeliers that bathed the surroundings in a cold, white glow over the darkened room with its light focused on the stage.
