Chương 14: Kiss

"Blossom, open the door!" I struggled to keep the door closed as my fingers got slippery everytime I pushed the door knob. I heard the girls groan whilst pushing the bathroom with alot of power. My hands finally gave out as soon as the girls gave one final push. I fell on my butt with a thud and groaned painfully. They barged in the bathroom breathing heavily. Kee's hair was tousled all over as sweat rolled on her forehead. They looked like mad women.

"How....:-" Jup trailed off breathing heavily. She used the sink to support herself and coughed.

":-you run so fast!" She continued using her hand to fan herself even though the windows we're open. I stood up and dusted my butt.

"You better speak up now young lady or I swear to God I will throw you in the swimming pool outside." Alessa threatened pointing her finger at me. They stood with their right hand on their hips in what I suppose is an intimidating manner. I giggled because they looked like mean girls in the matching pink shorts and black vest we we're wearing. I shook my head side ways and Alessa groaned in response. Just then, we heard Al's bedroom door open and we ran like children to check who it is. It was her maid who told us that dinner was ready.

"We'll be down in a second." I replied. We threw ourselves on the bed and sighed.

"What happened between you and Damon Bloss?" Alessa asked for the millionth time laying her head on my shoulder. Kee's was on my tummy and Jup's on my chest. So basically, I became a human pillow. Kee turned to look at me and let out a little sneeze. We laughed and she pinched me playfully.

"It's nothing. I haven't seen him for weeks now." I lied through my teeth.

"Lies!" Kaylee yelled out of the blue startling me.....and Jup who starred at her with wide eyes.

"I saw the way you looked today in the lot and you had the same look that night when you came home late. So far, only Demon can get that reaction out of you." Did she just call him Demon in front of Al! She seemed to realise her mistake as her eyes went wide. She looked at Al and smiled.

"No offence." Alessa waved her hand smirked.

"Non-taken. Now Blossom, spill." They looked at me expectantly. I buried my head in one of the pillows and let out a frustrated scream.

"Coach kept yelling at me during gym class to throw a ball properly and I did but I ended up hurting one of the students so I escorted him to the infirmary. I didn't want to return to gym class so I decided to go to the locker rooms to take a shower and change. Damon caught me red handed as I was leaving the gym where, as always, we argued:-" I trailed off and rolled my eyes.

":-the students started coming back so uhm, he locked us both in the janitor's closet for God knows what reason." I bit my lip recalling what he did....what we did.

"What happened in the janitor's closet." Alessa smirked.

"He well....uhm we...we argued a little more and then he:-"

":-kissed you!" Kaylee let out a sqeal as she jumped up and down on the down.

"NO. God no, he didn't. It was more of a uhm:-" I trailed off trying to find the right word.

":-peck on the cheek?" It sounded more like a question.

"Oh." Jup let out disappointed. I rolled my eyes and stood up.

"Can we now go and have something to eat because I am starving."

"I have questions." Al said joining me.

":-as do I." Jup chirped in grabbing my hand.

":-as do I." Kee said opening the door.

"Great!" I sighed and led the way to the kitchen. I heard them argue back and forth about why he didn't just kiss me or why I didn't kiss him. I gasped at Jup's blant statement of me being a virgin. I turned around and walked backwards as we approached the kitchen.

"Jupiter! You can't say that a loud and two, he probably has a girlfriend and that's why he didn't do it." I shrugged but immediately realised what I said.

":-I mean it's not like I wanted him to kiss me. God knows I would have slapped him hard had he laid his disgusting, good for nothing, dirty lips on mine." I flipped my non-existant hair and turned around. I almost fainted in terror.

"Mind saying that again! I don't think D got it right." Phraser said smirking at me. My eyes widened as soon as I saw the boys sitting in the kitchen. Jake was stuffing his face with food as well as Ace while Phraser held a glass to his lips, drinking whatever. Damon, he was sitting on top of the island his dark gray eyes fixated on me. Never in my life had someone ever terrified me with just their gaze.

"What are you doing here?" Alessa said going over to Jake and smacking him across the head.

"I specifically said, 'I'm having a sleep over with my girls and do not come here' and what did you do? You came HERE." She yelled looking at all of them. Ace rolled his eyes and pulled Jake back before she killed him. Phraser set his glass down and pulled her aside. Not once did Damon's eyes leave mine and I tried hard to look away.

"Calm down vixen, we came here to grab some stuff for the hun:-" He trailed off his eyes widening for a second. He looked back at us and cleared his throat.

"Couldn't you have called me first?" She said and pushed him away. She walked over to the fridge and grabbed herself a water bottle.

"And missed all of this? No way!" Ace smirked looking us over and I noticed food stuck on his teeth.

"Well hello to you too Ace!" Kee dead-panned mockingly. She walked swiftly with Jup by her side and sat down on the dining chairs. She frowned when she noticed me still up like a statue.

"I'll just go up and wait for you guys. I'm not that hungry anymore." I voiced out and prayed to God I didn't sound as terrified as I looked. Without sparring him a look, I speed walked out of there. I jogged up on the stairs and reached the bedroom Alessa said was mine for the night. I walked inside, closing the door behind me. But almost immediately, I heard the door slam open and I jumped up in fright.

"Let's see how you like these disgusting lips now shall we!" Damon spoke through gritted teeth with a harsh and raised voice. His face contorted with rage, veins pulsating on his forehead. His piercing eyes narrowed into slits, emitting an intense glare. His body shook with rage. Just then, all the lights flickered as though sensing something amiss sending my insides in a tornado and for a second I thought I saw his eyes glow with a silver hollow.

"Damon, I didn't mea-:"

":-I dare you to deny it." With every word he spoke, he approached me as though I was his prey until he cornered me on the wall. My heart raced rapidly and for once I wondered if maybe I could yell for help. He placed his hands on either side of my head, trapping me.

''Damon, calm down." I spoke calmly, the last thing I wanted was to anger him even more. He laughed mockingly and came impossibly closer. I was sandwiched between him and the wall. His hand brushed against my cheek, sending a shiver down my spine. His touch was electric, igniting a fire within me that I wanted to ignore.

With a mixture of hesitation and longing, he leaned in closer, his lips barely grazing at first, testing the waters of this newfound intimacy. Time seemed to stand still as he inched closer, our hearts racing in unison.

And then it happened—our lips met in a gentle, tentative kiss that spoke volumes of unspoken emotions. It was soft yet intense, a fusion of curiosity and desire that left us both breathless.

In that moment, everything else faded away—my worries, my doubts, my fears. There was only the warmth of each other's embrace, the taste of sweetness on our lips, and the overwhelming feeling of being exactly where we were meant to be. As I pulled away, a soft smile graced Damon's lips, his eyes sparkling with newfound affection. I had to stop myself and admire his beauty. God he looks gorgeous when he smiles. It was all short lived as Ace barged into the bedroom we we're in.

"Damon, we have a problem."
