Chương 67: Plans For A Secret Meeting

"Your name, maid!" Zuri said in a low but menacing voice. 

"I'm Kate."

"Good. You can go to wherever you were rushing to, Kate," Zuri said with a wave of her hand as she turned and returned to where Stephan was seated, without giving the maid another look.

'Acting like she's my master,' Kate thought with deep vitriol.  She imagined herself sucking the girl dry until her veins collapsed beneath her skin. Kate felt she would have her chance of revenge and she wouldn't let it pass her by – she would relish it. She walked to the door and stood there for some seconds before she opened it, resisting the urge to slam the door behind her. If the prince wasn't there, she would have done exactly that. The restrictions made her all the more angry – she gritted her teeth as she stormed off, heading to the queen's chambers.
