Chương 4: The Goal that he set

"What happened? Where did he go?" Dai said as he opened his eyes and looked around by turning his head left and right in a quick motion.

"What is this?" He imminently realized he was tied to a tree by multiple strings of ropes.

"Let me get out of here first," Dai said as he snapped the ropes easily.

He was able to get out of the rope's biding quite easily as it was just a normal rope that is used to blind normal people.

"Ahhhh. My whole body is stiff." Dai said as he try to stretch out his sore muscles.

"He was even stronger than I expected, hehehe," Dai said as he try to recall his fight with Goku.

"This is going to be fun," Dai said to himself.

"I have decided. I will become stronger than I am. I need to become strong so that I could defeat him the next time we see," Dai said as he tries to find the way to the Aru village.

He was now interested in the village because it was the place where he found Goku.

Even if Goku is not in the village anymore he could still gather information about him from the village.

However, he didn't realise that there was a problem.

He was someone that grows up in the woods without any guardian or any education.

Which means that he could not speak human language. He can understand them and mimic them to some degree but he has never properly learned how to speak it.

His speaking skills were like that of a child that tries to learn other languages through the use of films and movies.

By looking at the tone of someone's speaking voice and marking a few notable words that he was able to figure out the language and the meaning to some extent.

This means just by observing others, his brain could auto-translate the speech so that he would somewhat understand. But it was not always accurate.

He was just speaking gibberish when fighting Goku and Goku understanding him was already a miracle in itself.

"I this it was this way," Dai said as he slowly walked towards the direction of the Village.

Not knowing that it was the beginning of his first step toward civilising like a normal person.

Age 749, September 7. Around 1 in the noon.

After obtaining the six-star dragon ball from Aru Village after capturing Oolong, Bulma and Goku continued their quest for the dragon balls.

But now with a new company that was forced to join their adventure. It was oolong.

"Ha ha ha ha. I am very tired. I think we should stop for a while before we continued." Bulma said.

"I agree. We have been travelling for quite a while." Oolong agreed with Bulma.

"Weaklings. We have not even travelled for one hour yet." Goku said as he said to Bulma and Oolong who are out of breath.

"Well, we are not travelling in a desert while the sun was up on a magical flying cloud," Bulma said to Goku.

"Yeah." Oolong agreed with Bulma.

"Fine," Goku said as he jumped down to the ground.

"Let's see how you handle walking through the desert with this temperature," Bulma said to Goku.

"Can't we just turn back? I do not think going to frypan mountain was a good idea."Oolong said to Bulma.

"No. I am getting all the dragon balls no matter what." Bulma said to Oolong as she rejected his proposal.

"I heard that there is a bandit in this desert," Oolong said to Bulma.

"A bandit?" Bulma asked.

"I am not entirely sure. Since not many people come here." Oolong said to Bulma.

"I can see why," Bulma replied as she covered her eyes area from the scorching sunlight and indirectly gazed at the Sun.

"Come on. You guys are slow," Goku said to Bulma and Oolong as he leads them through a long journey.

It was still a while before they are able to gather the Dragonballs and a certain someone fulfils his or her wish.

---------------------------

At that time in Aru's village.

"I was surprised when you came to our village and started to destroy our houses but it seems that you are a good guy." A villager with a bushy moustache said to Dai as he brings him a drink.

"For the last time Where did he go?" Dai asked.

"What are you saying I still can't understand you?" the old man said to Dai.

"Don't joke around. I am already staying at your house for a day. How did you still not get what I am saying?" Dai yelled out in anger.

But the villager doesn't seem to be scared or fazed.

There are two reasons why the villagers aren't scared of him. It is quite simple.

1. Oolong who they thought was strong and terrifying was a fraud who was weaker than a normal child.

2. They have good hearts and they don't understand all the mean things that Dai was saying to them.

When Dai first arrived he was throwing a fit because the villagers could not understand him when he demand them to tell him the location where the boy with a monkey tail went.

But as Dai wanted information from them so he didn't harm them in any way shape or form so they thought of him as just a lost boy that need their help rather than an enemy.

"I hate this place. Just tell me where he went." Dai yelled out as tears of frustration started to come out of his face.
