Chương 6: Year 1: The boys

A few days passed since my meeting with Kamuro and today is the day of our meeting, the meeting of the first class boys.

We met at a burger restaurant, reserving for 14 people.

I, Masayoshi, Shiota, Katsuragi from Class A. I'm glad that Katsuragis admirerer is not here today. He's kinda annoying.

Kanzaki, Hamaguchi, Shibata and Shiba from Class B. I'm think I never met any of them.

No one from Class C. It seems like they didn't got in contact with the other classes much.

The most people were present from class D. Hirata, Sotomura, Sudo, Okitani, Miyake and even Ayanokōji. I didn't think he would come. I also heard that Ike and Yamauchi wanted to come, but said no, as they heard there won't be any girls here.

"So you're Kurose. I heard the group chat was your idea." A friendly looking guy approached me.

"Yeah, it was. And you are?"

"Yosuke Hirata from Class D."

"Oh, I heard you were their representative."

"That's true, but don't judge me based on that. I just want everyone to come along well."

'Wow, that doesn't sound like a normal conversation. It doesn't feel naturally, more like somebody thaught of that.

Maybe Hirata is an experienced orator.'

"I hope that too."

A boy spoke up.

"I'm Ryuji Kanzaki, the boy's representative from class 1B. I want everyone to sit down and order their food. Everyone has to pay for themselves, if it isn't obviously. Enjoy our meeting and have fun."

So, that was Kanzaki. I think he felt the urge to move the boys, as he was the one to make the idea of this meeting.

Every boy was sitting except Hirata, Kanzaki and I. We looked that first of all, all the others got a place.

I placed myself next to Katsuragi. It seemed he also waited, but he sat down as he saw me watching too. On the other side next to me there was Kanzaki and Hirata across from me.

Soon we ordered our food and conversations started. It got really noises, so that other studengs, who also were customers looked annoyed and started eating faster. That didn't concern most of the first years. Only Hirata sighed.

Looking at the boys, I noticed some people keeping out of the most parts of the conversations. On of them was abviosly Ayanokoji. He tried joining im some conversations, but soon got pushed out. Now, he just observed. The other was Shiota. He got confused for a girl in the beginning of our meeting and is still a little insulted.

And there was Sudo. He acted all cool and mighty, not talking to anyone, but as the topic changed to sports, he went all in. He bragged about his basketball skills and that he wanted to go pro. That's pretty unrealistic by the way.

Shibata also joined by the sport topic, talking about football and how good Hirata is. Hirata on the other side was confused and said that Shibata is way better. He really was the typical good guy, wasn't he?

Now, the other side of the coin, the friendly people. After Sudo joined the talks, they got even more lively. I think it's part of his energy. Masayoshi also was a guy, who could connect himself fast with other people. And of course Hirata was also good in conversations.

'I'm sorry for you Ayanokoji. If every guy in your class would be an Ike, you sure would be incredibly popular. But Hirata is unfortunately in your Class.'

The boys of Class B were the most friendly and talkative people. Especially the guy named Shiba. He had black hair and genuine friendly smile. But also Shibata and Hamaguchi positioned themselve in a center role of the conversations.

Then there was this guy called Miyake. He was very friendly too and we even ended up calling us by our first names at the end of this evening.

For me, I joined conversations here and there. They didn't contain useful informations, so I could just be there and talk without thinking about anything the other said.

That's Masayoshi's part. He should look out for weak parts in their classes. I don't want to do it myself. I think I got a little bit lazy in the last days, as I had a subordinate now.

"Well then, comrades, let's enjoy our meals!" It was a little, chubby dude, who spoke up, as our burgers got served. I think I heared a class D guy calling him Professor before.

'What's with his way of speeking?'

I got served my Burger, like the others did, of course not at the same time. Butmine was one of the first one, so I could count myself lucky.

It tastes pretty good. It was noving I never had before, but still way better than ordinary food.

"Yummy!"

"That's pretty good."

"It's not bad."

"Thank you for the meal … Fuck, that's awesome."

It seems I got a little comforted by my cooking and the meals in my family's mansion.

"Which girls do you like?"

'Oh, there are some guys of this kind here too.'

"There are some cute girls in my class."

'Oh, you too Masayoshi, you too?'

"I heard there was this loli in yours!"

'They are nuts talking about Sakayanagi like that. But I think everyone would, who never met here before.'

"I'm more into mature types."

Hirata looked nervous. He didn't contribute anything to this conversation and waited for it to end.

"Like Ichinose from class B?"

"Yeah, she's hot."

"Hey, don't talk about our leader like that."

'Their Leader? Is he a second Masayoshi.'

"Oh, sorry. Didn't mean to disturb you."

"I'm also more into the mature type, like this Horikita from 1D."

"Oh man, she's also hot."

"I wouldn't say that."

"Did you say something, Ayanokōji?"

"No, I don't."

"What about Kushida?"

"She's so sweet, like an angel."

"Totally."

"Ten out of ten girlfriend material!"

'Kushida, huh.' I saw her a few times, while she tried making friends with a few of class A's members. Shiota also told me, she approached him once, but he escaped the situation. He said to me, that somethings off with her and she didn't tell the whole truth, like she concealed herself.

I didn't noticed anything of this, but I haven't talked to her once, so maybe I'd also notice it. But I have to say, that Shiota's observational abilities could even beat mine.

"I'm more into the senpai type."

"Most upper classmen are absolutely hot."

"And a kohai - senpai relationship is simply the best!"

"Oi Boss, what kind of girls do you like?"

'The asshole Masayoshi tried to set me up.'

Nearly no one seems to know, who he meant with boss, so they just looked at the other confused faces on the desk.

Only Ayanokoji, Katsuragi, Shiota and surprisingly Kanzaki looked at me. Ayanokoji heard Masayoshi calling me 'boss! once before, so it was likely for him, that he meant me.

For Katsuragi and Shiota, well they heard it during the classes for sure. Masayoshi never let an opportunity slide to mock me with this title, so he also called me that during the lessons.

For why Kanzaki immediately looked at me, I'm not certain yet. But I heared one of his classmates calling Ichinose leader and she was also the representative of class B like I'm the one of class A. That could be why he looked at me. He just thaught that Masayoshi also called his representative with a superior form of adress.

As I said 'Huh, me?' all of the boys looked at me. All of them are curious, but I doubt they only want to know why he called me boss.

"Do I have to answer?"

"Oi Kohai, you're also her?"

'That voice!' Behind me and next to the door a girl with long white hair and crimson red eyes appeared. 'Perfect timing, Fuka!'

"Fuka." I looked behind her. There were two girls, most likely also upper class men.

"Hahaha, long time no see! Why didn't you call me?"

"I was busy."

"Oh Kouhai, you really hurt me with those cold statements." She really looked hurt. At least for a moment. "Hahaha, just kidding. I'm hungry, so I don't want to disturb you any further! But why don't you come visit me later this evening, we didn't have much time last week, did we?"

"I will."

"Hahaha, then it's settled kohai!"

She leads the other two girls to a free place in the back corner and ordered her food.

The other boys looked at me silently.

Fuka didn't put her words well. You could interpret then, let's say a liitle different.

'Thank you, Fuka.'

"Does that answer your question."

Now a hell broke out.

"That's unfair!"

"It seems your charme took over this lady." (The professor btw)

"Damn dude!"

"Woah."

"Did you see that."

"Oh, I see. So the R in Reiji stands for rizz."

'Masayoshi, can't you just let it be.'

With that the meeting approached his end.

On this evening I built a solid base with Hirata and Kanzaki, as well as a friendship with Akito. He really is cool.

I left the meeting and headed to the dorms with the other guys to change my clothes, I don't really like the school uniform. Red just doesn't suit me well. After a while in the dorms I headed to my meeting with Fuka, even tho she's probably not even there yet.
