As such, Kerren had to contact the guildmaster to use him! How will he do that? As usual, he'll just go to the recruitment center again!
It was easier than asking for his number, or maybe getting some other method to contact him... Well, yeah, now that he thought about he'll need to do that...

Soon after, a car came to pick up Kerren. Guildmaster wanted to come himself to thank him for saving his son... Kerren didn't understand why would he do that, since it was him who put his son in danger anyway...
But why not! If he wants to thank Kerren - let him! Or maybe he was sarcastic? Who knows.
Anyway, after an hour or so Kerren finally stood infront of the guildmaster's house! Kerren didn't know why he would bring him here instead of the guild house, but whatever the reason was... why bother?
As such, he entered the guildmasters house. It was a giant and luxurious mansion that had lots of people running around it! Maids, butlers, even guards stood left and right!
It was a showcase of power! Of course, as Kerren knew if wont last for long, but... since he was now here, maybe it would change? Not like he would do that because he admired the guild for what it did or anything, he only cared for profits!
He was led by an old butler that emitted a strong aura, he was an "A" rank, no less!
Thus, he couldn't help but ask himself -* How did such a guild fall? It happened a few years later as far as i remember... They dont look that weak... -- he glanced around, seeing many strong people!
Of course, they were nothing in 30 years, but as of now? Peak of this world!
-* Internal conflict that rose with the help of other guilds? Quite possbly the case -- he came to a conclusion. He didn't really care about the guild, if it fell he could find a new one... it was simple curiousity!
Soon, he was infront on a door.
- Here, please, Master awaits for you. -- the butler humbly said, pointing both of his hands at the door while he himself slightly bowed politely.
-* This guy is an excellent butler... -- he couldn't help but praise. It was not the first one he saw, but this guy was on a whole another level!
Kerren entered the room, he saw the guildmaster and his son sitting inside! There was a mana infused alcohol on the table, a somewhat rare and expensive dungeon reward!
Of course, people of this world could brew it too, but it was far less effective as the one on the table, thus he couldn't help but ask...
- Good stuff you have here. Mind if i drink some? -- he asked as soon as he entered the room, not even greeting people inside!
- Of course! You are my sons saviour after all! -- the guildmaster answered while rising his hand with a glass, seemingly inviting Kerren to drink with him!
Kerren, however, simply came to the table and directly took the bottle, gulping half of it in one go!
That sight amazed two men sitting close by! They couldn't bear to drink even 50ml at a time! It was as if their bodies couldn't bear more than that... And this guy drank half a bottle instantly!
- Good stuff indeed. Do you have any other stuff that increases one's mana pool? I came here exactly because of that. I need as much of mana-increasing items as possible. -- He didn't beat around the bush and directly stated his reason!
- We do have some indeed -- he said as he used a spell -- I ordered to bring some from my personal storage. Giving you more, however, would be hard. The guild doesn't belong to me alone, so you will have to work for the sake of the guild! -- he showed goodwill and immediately stated that Kerren cant rely on it at all!
- That'll do, just point at a dungeon and consider it cleared. Apart from crystals and mana-increasing stuff i dont want anything. You will have to add some of your own after every successful clear. Deal? -- he didn't even try to make a fair deal!
- That's... Well, depends on how much stuff you want with every clear, if it's not too much i'll agree! -- he said in a somewhat hesitant voice -- Wait, you rascal! I forgot to ask - how did you leave the dungeon!? -- his mind was distracted by Kerren's actions so much that he forgot the main problem!
- Huh? What do you mean how? I just exited it. -- he made a surprised expression like he didn't understand what the fuss is about!
- Dont you dare lie to me! -- the guildmaster pretended to be angry -- I was there! I couldn't even sense you being there and the guards along with my son said that u stayed inside! -- he pointed at his son amidst the sentence.
- So what? If you couldn't see me that just means that my method worked, nothing more. -- he proudly stated. -- Of course, i wont reveal it to you unless you mean a sufficient amount... -- he wasn't bluffing! He really had a method to exit the dungeon somewhat far away from the entrace, it was a rare technique back from his previous life!
It was very useful when one didn't want to show up on the entrance and didn't really cost anything. It wasn't unlike leaving the dungeon before clearing it, which required one to sacrifice everything!
- Hoo... So you have such methods! No wonder you knew about the technique of leaving! -- guildmasters curiosity rose even further! -- What do you want for it? -- he immediately asked for a price!
- 1000 kilograms of 100% pure "A" crystals or an equivalent of it in mana-increasing stuff. Anything will do, no more than 5 copies of one potion though, i'm not stupid. -- he stated the price! That was, of course, an enormous sum of money! But... giving that much for a method to leave fool people at the entrace? Why not!
- That's... -- the guildmaster hesitated, it was too much after all.
- You can pay it in parts. For example 300 kilograms worth of potions and 700 more in crystals, i dont care that much, it just has to be something i can use! -- it's not like what the said just now would lessen the pressure...
- I'll think about it. -- he said quietly -- Oh, right! I almost forgot about the gift! -- he said somewhat loudly! -- You're still living in your dorn, right? I've bought you an apartment near the university! It's not grand or anything, only 300m2 or so, but i hope it'll make you somewhat happy! -- he tossed Kerren the key and some documents. -- Of course, i will pay for any expenses related to it. -- he added in the end.
- Thanks, it's not like i need one anyway but i got somewhat bored of my room. -- he looked at the key as he said it. -- Any maids or whatever? -- he then asked.
- Yes, i've already ordered some to come...
- Dismiss them, i will live alone. -- he interrupted!
- Dont want me to know what u're doing eh? -- he praised -- Fine, it's not like i thought it'll work! -- he didn't even try to hide!
- Anything else you forgot? -- Kerren asked as he was about to leave.
- Nothing, dont you want to stay a little more? I'll order to bring some mana-fruits and drinks... -- he tried to lure Kerren in!
- Sure -- he didn't even hesitate...
