The island wasn't as big as the one we were staying in, but it still had a decent size. It was unlike those tiny islands with only a single tree and some sand.

So Tang Yusheng had some room to hide. There was a forest on the island, and it was a dense one with lots of bushes and trees. I left the beach area and went looking for him.

Not because I wanted to slap him. That was one of the reasons. But also because he had to leave in the following hours to continue our journey.

But where was he? With my current Qi sensing ability, it wouldn't be hard to find someone like Tang Yusheng, yet I could not. It was like he had vanished from the island.

Based on that, I already knew something was up. Could Tang Yusheng be in danger?

I flew over the forest to get a better view from the top, looking for clues or marks that might tell me where he was. Even without feeling his Qi, I could still see a footprint or something similar.
