[Rias POV]
The crimson haired beauty had been laying in bed, all the while completely oblivious to her husband to be's absence.
Her dreams were lust driven, inspired by their intimate actions last night. So as her eyes fluttered and opened, she wasn't surprised by the pooling moisture she felt between her legs.
She briefly wiped her eyes before sitting up. She frowned as she realized the warmth she had been bathing in had vanished, but that frown was replaced with a smile when she turned around and saw Isamu asleep behind her, wearing nothing but the skin he was born with.
She took a few minutes to simply bask in his presence. Her eyes scanned his muscles, which had seemed to grow larger since last night.
…Now that she thinks about it…his hair had grown a bit as well.
And he looked taller.
He had been training hadn't he?
Rias sighed, the smile never leaving her lips as she laid back into her boyfriend. Thoroughly enjoying the feeling of his bulky muscles that seemed to rival and perhaps even surpass her cousin Sairaorg now.
As she traced her finger on his chest, she raised an eyebrow as she noticed just how much taller he had gotten. Isamu was always tall. When Rias first met him, he was about 187 cm, but last night he stood at about 195 cm. Now he has grown even beyond that. She predicted that he has to be between 203-206 cm now.
Which was going to be really hard to explain to the students and teachers whenever they went back to school tomorrow.
Nothing a little magic can't fix of course.
As she traced her finger along his body, she began to wonder just what kind of training he had been doing to get these results, and for how long.
Her smile disappeared as she remembered her best friend and queen and her words the day before yesterday.
Her vow to have an affair with Isamu could be taken as a joke by many who had heard it, but Rias knew Akeno better than anyone else. Perhaps even better than Akeno knew herself. She knew Akeno was dead serious about 'having fun' with Isamu.
Over her dead body.
Her fiance had always been a man she had eyes on, even before they met. Someone that looked so different from everyone else was bound to gain her attention and that of Sona's as well.
It was after their first conversation that she realized he was plenty different from other boys she had seen. The way he saw himself was an eye opening experience, one she and Akeno could relate to. A single cherry blossom in a sea of green leaves.
She had spent her entire life as one of those green leaves, doing her best to live up to the Gremory name. However, more than anything in her life, she wanted to live her own life. To do things that made her happy without worrying about consequences. To live as a girl with her own dreams and whims. To live as Rias.
That's not to say she doesn't love her family. There is nothing she holds more dear to her than her family and peerage. However her father had such high hopes for her being the next head of the family and wanted to dictate every aspect of her life.
She hated it.
Her eyes fell on the face of her bed buddy, and a warm smile split her face. Leaning in, she planted several small kisses on his lips.
He saved her from that life. He fought against her biggest problem and won. He freed her from the chains of responsibility, and now she owes him everything.
A blush came on her face as she realized just what that truly meant.
Everything, from her body, to her mind, to her soul. She owed every bit to him, and for once in her life she didn't mind upholding that responsibility.
The fact that her family actually liked Isamu only added cookie points in her mind. Her father had pulled her aside during the party and practically begged her to see this marriage through. She found the sight hilarious and also very heartwarming, considering he was actually asking her for once instead of just forcing her into it.
Her mother had expressed that he 'checked off all the boxes.' Which she couldn't agree with more.
Millicas had called him 'cool', even going as far as to say that the Egyptian dragon deserves a show. Aiyanna absolutely cooed at her son and agreed that such a thing would bring further smiles to his face.
She's a very loving mother.
The only one who seemed to be miffed was Sirzechs, and even he didn't 'object' their union. Instead saying that "he's a pleasant upgrade from Riser, but still too weak to properly protect her."
She knew that in time her fiance would grow stronger and thus left Sirzechs with nothing to argue about.
Then she finally got her alone time with Isamu and learned more than she ever thought she would about him. They spent the entire party talking about both of their pasts. As they talked, she only fell deeper for him. He held nothing back, talking about the good times, the bad times, and even the times that he had locked away and thrown away the key.
In turn, he listened to her every word. Whenever she finished talking, he had questions to ask about her different experiences.
Though, she knew for a fact she was head over heels for him when she told him about her dream to become the rating game champion. It was always a stupid dream to others because she's a slothful devil. But Isamu didn't even question her when he told her. He knew she could do it…that he would help her accomplish that dream.
She couldn't help but find herself believing him.
