"Why are you doing this! We said we're sorry!"
"Please, have mercy! Lord Azazel save us!"
"..."
"Keep running! You two may be some nice pieces of ass but you're only useful to me if you grow stronger."
So here I am, training. It's been about a month since I entered the realm and gave Ddraig his new body. The first thing I did was head to the person I wanted to grab, but imagine my surprise when I found out my mummies were more greedy than I thought.
The shitty fallen that Rias, Akeno, Yuuto, and I killed were here…or should I say their souls were. I knew Yuuma, or Raynare, was here because I sent her here along with a bunch of mummies. I hadn't even noticed one sneaking over and grabbing the blonde with a nice ass, Mittelt. Now the main question I had to investigate was how the bluenette, Kalawarner got here.
I definitely recall closing the portal before I went to watch Yuuto's fight. Now that I think about it, I don't recall us ever cleaning up that church when we left. Did one super naughty mummy open a portal of their own creation and grab her?
I'll definitely have to ask them later.
Well, I already planned on using Raynare for this plan, the other two just happened to be happy surprises. The reason for this being that they all died and now are subject to my absolute control. Meaning if I want them to die, I need only will it. With that in mind I've decided to leave their minds untouched.
The fact that I'm holding a sword over their heads was more than enough to keep them loyal and working. Which leads me to the actual plan.
Guardians.
I wanted to make an army of skeletal dragons to answer my beck and call, but they can only be so strong. I've already tried to create stronger ones and it's impossible, and considering that they're just made of bone, the only boost they can get is durability.
So I decided to train these fallen so that they could be at the forefront of my army. I already gave them new bodies with the same strength as the skeletal dragons, which means they are way stronger than they once were. The only difference being that they have working fallen organs. They only have the bones of a dragon while the same anatomy of normal fallen.
This means while they're considerably stronger than they were, they're still technically 'alive' so they can grow in strength naturally.
I'm keeping them training near 24/7 because fuck them. I still haven't forgiven Raynare for what she did, and the other two seem like bitches that would have done the same thing. Their strength is still around high ultimate class, and while that might seem like a threat given I used to be D low tier god. Emphasis on 'used to be.'
In the month I've grown to the point where I'm around high ultimate class with no boosts of [War Aura]
I haven't tested my full power, but if I had to guess, I'd say I'm around B low tier god right now. The first month was dedicated to training my body while disregarding everything else, the second month will be spent training to unlock my balance breaker.
According to Ddraig I have long since grown strong enough to maintain his balance breaker indefinitely, but to unlock it I have to do something that 'triggers' it. Since balance breakers are just a glitch in heavens system that shouldn't even exist, they are pretty conditional in their awakening.
"It's almost a shame your mental fortitude is so great. The day Lucifer showed you the depths of destruction you would have surely awakened your balance breaker." Ddraig sighed in his skeletal body.
"Yeah, fuck my mental fortitude." I rolled my eyes. Chances are I would have gone insane and thus unlocked it, but what would be the point if I lost my shit.
"Sarcasm doesn't look good on you." Ddraig huffed. "Though, I'm quite impressed with your results thus far. If you spent a full year in here training at your current pace, you'd be able to match the Lucifer at around the half a year mark, give or take."
"Yeah, if I unlocked your balance breaker and gained further control in my domains. It doesn't matter how strong or fast you are if you can just be destroyed." I chuckled.
"True, but it does matter how durable you are, and you are definitely durable. I'd say you could take one of his attacks head on right now and survive…for around five seconds before you fade into the abyss." Ddraig joked, much to my annoyance.
I knew I wasn't that strong.
Yet…
I also knew I wasn't weak. I knew if I could unlock my balance breaker, I could definitely break into the mid tier god ranks. Which would make my potential incomprehensible. Such growth in so little time would cause an uproar in the supernatural world. I'd be able to rival the satans, cadre, and seraphim. Which would put me in the top 100 strongest beings in existence.
That type of potential is world shattering, especially with Ddraig saying in half a year I would be comfortably within the top 10.
It motivates me to push through the ass whooping I'm currently getting.
[BOOST!]
Why the fuck can he do that? I know for a fact I didn't link the gear to his body, only his consciousness.
"What was it you like to say? Oh yes…I'm built different." Ddraig roared as he charged up his power.
[BOOST!] x 30
In moments he had boosted enough to feel comfortable charging me.
As I watched the absolutely massive dragon made of bone barreling towards me at incomprehensible speeds, one thought went through my mind.
Fuck that!
Channeling the power within all five of my domains, I created a barrier that would not only protect me from powerful hits, but would also hurt the person attacking.
[PENETRATE!]
Penewhat-
Ddraig casually pushed through my barrier like it was made of paper and hit me like a bullet train, which sent me flying for miles through the realm.
"Is that all you got? How do you expect to survive Lucifer if you can't even take that much? Had I been in my prime, the only thing left of you would be your blood and organs painting my scales." Ddraig scolded as he landed next to my downed form.
The impact had made a pretty big crater within the ground, so much so that it looked like a ravine.
"W-What…the fuck…was that." I groaned out in pain. The hit had definitely shattered most of my bones and left me a bloody mess.
"One of my stronger abilities that I had access to in my prime, [PENETRATE]. Using it comes instinctually to me, though I doubt you could use it right now. Considering you haven't even unlocked my balance breaker." Ddraig beamed with pride.
As much as the massive dragon liked the freedom of his new body, he hated how it was so weak. It was honestly a motivator for him to beat me senseless. Though, I'm happy to see he's retained his abilities. Well, some of them I guess.
"What does it do?" I asked, sitting up and starting to repair my body.
"Basically it allows me to 'penetrate' through any defense, and yes I do mean ANY defense. Whether it be barriers, or time and space itself."
The fuck? That sounds completely broken!
"How the fuck did you end up getting sealed!?" I asked in genuine confusion. Someone that could penetrate through fucking space and time shouldn't have to worry about shit.
"The ability works for anything with the exception of physical durability. Meaning if I were to face someone that had a body strong enough to tank my hits, it would be useless." Ddraig explained with a reminiscent frown.
"So God tanked your attacks?" I smirked.
I didn't get a vocal answer from the dragon, instead he just nodded his very large head.
"If you can become naturally strong by yourself, then you can beat anyone. By attaining the strongest body of all the beings in existence, nobody would be able to harm you. Even Albion. He has the ability to half anything, but even he cannot half someone's durability." Ddraig shrugged with a competitive glint in his eyes.
That was news to me. I had read that Albion was capable of dividing anything. Though I guess someone's durability wouldn't really be able to be halved unless you took away their muscle and natural toughness.
"Make no mistake, Albion has ways to attack one's body. His poison is quite effective in destroying an infected's body and even their soul."
I could see that nonchalance in Ddraig's eyes, which made me think that such a poison had not actually affected him.
"I need to unlock your balance breaker." I sighed, standing up and dusting myself off.
"Then let's get back to work. Those fallen wenches may be slacking since we're out of sight."
A maddening smile split my lips as I looked up at my soul buddy. "They wouldn't dare. They know the consequences."
Ddraig's maniacal laughter boomed as he shot himself out of the crater and back towards where we were training originally, with me trailing just a bit behind him.
Nice little training chapter.
