Eleanor's words were so hilarious that both mother and son burst out laughing.
"I'm sure he will understand my dear. I would have loved to see how the dignified guest would almost be bowing to our little Eleanor as she hangs the garlands on his neck," Kathleen said regretfully.
"Of course you will be there mommy. The school has prepared a special seat for all the parents, so you will see everything that is going on from there."
"I'm sorry, sweetheart, but I might not be able to make it to your school tomorrow."
"What are you saying mommy?" Eleanor's slender brow puckered in a frown. "You have to come. All the other parents will be there."
