"Don't be afraid. I know some of you have been wronged and tortured, so I'm here to rescue you," Whitebeard said. The prisoners looked wary, and Whitebeard could see they had endured a lot of suffering.
"Really? Are you here to release us?" someone asked boldly.
"Of course," Whitebeard replied.
"I am Whitebeard, and I declared war on Kaido to help Wanokuni. Momonosuke, the young master of the Kozuki family, is the son of my old friend."
Hearing this, everyone began to trust Whitebeard. They knelt before him, saying, "Thank you, Whitebeard-sama. Please defeat Kaido and overthrow Kurozumi Orochi. Otherwise, this country is doomed."
"Yes, I will," Whitebeard agreed. He then instructed Marco and the others to break the prisoners' chains, release everyone, and provide them with food and water.
These people were very moved and expressed their desire to follow Whitebeard and fight Kaido. However, since most of them were ordinary citizens, Whitebeard couldn't let them join the war.
After some persuasion, he asked them to return home, assuring them he would liberate all of Wanokuni as soon as possible.
Whitebeard continued to push forward, but with the Beast Pirates already evacuated, there was little need for action to reclaim the lost ground. Along the way, Whitebeard also connected with the local people.
Hope is getting higher and higher.
Soon, Whitebeard's Moby Dick reached the Flower Capital, the most prosperous place and the heart of Wanokuni.
However, after coming here, Whitebeard unexpectedly discovered that the attitudes of the residents here are obviously different from those of other areas.
Here, people were very supportive of the Kaido and Kurozumi families but showed some resistance to Whitebeard.
"Whitebeard, why did you attack Kaido-sama? He's been protecting Wanokuni and making it prosper."
"Yeah, Whitebeard wants to start a war and take over Wanokuni."
"Whitebeard, leave Wanokuni!"
These people have been completely controlled by the Kurozumi family. They don't realize how many suffer despite the capital's prosperity.
The Flower Capital does not have any factories, so people don't see the environmental destruction or feel the pain of hunger and cold.
Moreover, being the stronghold of the Kurozumi family, it's the first to benefit from any advantageous opportunities. With the Kurozumi family's favorable propaganda and the factories built after Kaido's intervention, the Flower Capital has maintained a false sense of prosperity, intoxicating its people.
They've also forgotten the past, when the Kurozumi family rebelled against the Kozuki family.
So, when Whitebeard intervened, many people cursed him. Of course, they didn't dare to do it to his face, but they whispered behind his back.
These words seemed to echo in Whitebeard's ears, especially with his enhanced sonic abilities. So, when he heard them, Whitebeard couldn't help but feel a little angry.
Not only Whitebeard could hear it, but even Marco and others could feel the resistance of the people here. After all, their attitudes were clear from their faces.
"The more prosperous the place, the less people feel the pain," Benjamin remarked.
"I hope these people wake up soon," Marco said, shaking his head.
"These people may not realize it, but they've enjoyed the benefits. They're not exactly the ones suffering. So, if we want to change their minds, we need to disrupt their current lives, preferably through force,"
Jinbei added angrily, "This will also shut them up for now."
Since Whitebeard no longer wanted to deal with these ignorant people, he let Benjamin handle the speeches upon entering the Flower Capital. Despite their ignorance and annoyance, Whitebeard was still willing to give them a chance.
First warning, then use them as pawns if they still persist.
Whitebeard instructed Benjamin to inform the people that their mission to fight against Kaido was to liberate Wanokuni, redefine leadership, and expose the environmental damage caused by Beast Pirates factories. They also needed to address the Kurozumi family's misuse of criminal law.
However, Whitebeard still overestimated them. He hoped some would wake up, but they couldn't understand what they hadn't experienced. These people were just completely stubborn.
In the end, even Benjamin gave up. He reluctantly said to Whitebeard, "Oyaji, it seems talking won't help. Let's just ignore them."
"It's also where the Shogun Kurozumi Orochi resides,"
Whitebeard noted. "Ignoring them won't work. We need to give them some form of punishment,"
"What do you mean?" Marco asked.
Benjamin was unsure what punishment Whitebeard had in mind for these people. He worried it might be too severe and could be manipulated by those with ulterior motives to spread false rumors about Whitebeard's tyranny.
"Choose some people with influential voices and take them to the places that have been damaged. Let them see for themselves and understand," Whitebeard suggested.
"Alright, I'll handle it," Marco responded promptly, knowing he could fly.
"I'm coming too. We need to make sure they understand," added Charles Vane, ready to move quickly as well.
Next, Marco and Charles Vane left the Moby Dick. They each grabbed two arrogant-looking family heads and quickly took them away.
"These people really a bad guy, deosn't care about other people life," Tama sad seeing their angry face, also annoyed by the support they give to Kurozumi Orochi and the ease with which they slandered Whitebeard, unable to calm down.
"Don't worry, Tama. Things will change soon," Whitebeard reassured her with a smile.
In the following journey, Whitebeard lifted the Moby Dick into the air and sailed it floating above the ground. The ship was too large for the streets here, and passing through normally would surely damage the buildings.
After all, this is the capital city of Wanokuni, and Whitebeard didn't want to destroy it, so he maintained air navigation since the beginning

Note: it's really convenience ability, first create a Vibration Barrier, then use a barrier for an arena or using it to step into the sky. Now he's using the same abilities to float Ship?
