"Never mind... Stop it... I'm also fine," Eve said, calming her friends.
"We'd better get back. I'm here to wait for Lord Max's return. But he isn't here, so I will be back later tonight. Don't waste your energy like this."
The dragon that was holding Edna let go of the grip until the girl fell to the floor. Edna couldn't breathe. Her chest hurt from being hit.
"If you report this, I will definitely kill you. Humans like you could never be worthy of serving us, dragons."
Edna reflexively raised her hand to protect herself as Eve approached.
"Edna, I have helped you. So you won't tell this to Lord Max, right?" Eve asked gently as she rubbed Edna's head.
Edna shivered at the touch. That was not a request, but a threat. She knew that all this came from Eve. However, she could not voice it.
Eve was not directly involved in all the attacks that Edna got, but the woman was always there ... watching and making sure that they did not hurt Edna in a visible place.
