As soon as the booming voice echoed, everyone was taken aback, their heads snapping toward the direction of the sound.

Alex too, turned his attention to the source of the sound. The voice was unmistakably familiar to him - it was Elder Liang's voice.

As everyone looked in the direction of the voice, they were taken by surprise to see Elder Liang. But what shocked them even more was his disheveled appearance.

Elder Liang was dressed in what once must have been a white robe, now torn and faded to an unidentifiable color. His hair was unkempt and messy.

His once immaculate attire now appeared to be stained a dirty brown, as if he had been rolling in the dirt.

In one hand, Elder Liang held a jar, which seemed to contain some sort of alcohol. He staggered towards the stage with the unsteady gait of a drunkard.

"Is that Elder Liang? What could he possibly be doing here?" one bystander whispered to another in the crowd.
