"Would you like to hear it?" Alice asked, her smile taking on an unsettling shade of red.

Cian raised an eyebrow. "How many glasses have you had?"

"About seven. Why do you ask?"

"You seem to have a high tolerance for alcohol. Well, I suppose it's not surprising considering..." Cian trailed off, realizing that his words might be insensitive.

Alice chuckled softly. "Fufu... Don't worry about it. What you're thinking is true. Because of that, I don't easily get drunk."

She finished her glass of wine and promptly requested another, as if to demonstrate her point.

"So, what is it that you want me to hear?" Cian inquired.

"To be honest, it's old news. You've probably already heard it from someone else, but I'll tell you anyway," Alice replied, placing her glass on the table and leaning in closer. "Did you know that the Duchess of Leonhart is planning to attend this event tomorrow?"
