"So? What's the update?" Lucas stood in the middle of the lounge of the building while Sebastian sat on the sofa leisurely.

"I... Sir, I swear I had that girl captive here. Simon and Jacob were the ones responsible for keeping an eye on her. We tied her with ropes too," the leader looked around with helpless eyes.

He didn't know what happened. One moment they were waiting in the lounge and making calls to Mr. Lucas about how they found the girl, and the next moment a guard rushed inside and said he saw someone like Marcello roaming around the market. 

The leader won't lie to himself. He was greedy. He was greedy and thought he was lucky that he and his team found Marcello, the man every royal is looking for because they want to make a deal with him and keep them in their circle. He thought he would be praised for not one but two good works.
