After Yuri and Tuss had prepared thousands of metal wires, they finally took a break.

"A few more hours of sleep, and we'll be there," Tuss said, holding Yuri close in the cramped quarters of their rest cabin.

Yuri, stifling a yawn, said, "You should sleep too. We need to be sharp."

"Alright," Tuss replied, planting a kiss on her forehead.

Almost instantly, the two of them drifted off to sleep. Their red-green mecha was so quiet, it was almost as if they were alone in the universe.

Meanwhile, the battlefield was still ablaze with fire. The insectoids and the Alliance were stuck in a standstill.

"Commander, our ammo stockpile is running low. At the current rate of fire, we can only last for about six more hours," one of the officers reported.

"Our situation is probably even more dire on the ore planet. It's gotten much quieter over there."
