Since Adrain wanted to have her even though they were no longer married, there was only one way she could leave and that was to make him believe she wanted him too. Even though his sudden rich personality is quite surprising, she had to escape and leave from there.

"So Adrain," she started, and the man immediately shifted his neck to stare at her. "I heard that the Hart corporations finally went bankrupt so how are you able to own this house?" She asked him.

A glint of fear passed through his eyes and Erika didn't miss it. Adrain replied,

"I used my last savings to start up a business and luckily, it bloomed."

Juliet glanced at him but didn't say anything.

"But I heard that you owed the bank the sum of 100 million dollars so if I may ask, how were you able to pay up and still have enough to start a business?" She pried.

Adrian's eyes nervously darted from one place to another, as if unsure of what his next reply should be.
