Laura was seething with anger but remained calm. Over the years, she had wondered what it would feel like if she met this man again and now that she did, all the pain from the past rushed into her heart like a flood.

"To kill an innocent family. Like you wanted to do with the vice president," Laura glared at him emotionlessly, her legs crossed. 

Julius smiled and looked at her admiringly. She might be tough but he was sure that she would be no match for him.

"That is what we do. You have also done it before. Don't pretend to be an angel," he accused her. Laura stood up and walked around a little but still maintained a good distance between them.

If she was alone, it would have been easier but she wasn't. "I'm not an angel but I'm no demon."

"What do you want?" Julius finally asked her. Laura smiled but it didn't reach her eyes.

"An eye for an eye."

Julius found her words funny, bursting with laughter. "Hahaha. You can't kill me."
