Beasts
Normal animals exist in this world but strange animals are mostly common here, a fire-breathing boar, a breed of monkeys that are telepathic, and many other strange animals that live alongside the normal ones, for some breeds of animals that is, some breeds of normal animals have gone extinct due to the violent nature of the special ones of their breed.
These types of animals existing in this world are normal and that is one of the reasons why people are extra careful with their movements outside the walls of the kingdom.
There are also spirit animals, those ones are entirely not of this world but they bear no distinguishing feature compared to the ones from the world except for the fact that they are extra special.
Only those who have truly mastered the art of summoning can go to their world and come to certain terms with an animal that can be called forth to aid in battle.
These animals with special abilities both normal and spirit animals/beasts are ranked in a certain way by humans and these rankings are based on the number of marks they have on their neck.
A beast with one mark on its neck is known as a basic tier beast and the ranking progresses as more marks gets added thus.

The maximum number of marks normal animals can get is six but spirit animals/beasts can push beyond that and unlike normal beasts whose marks retain their normal dim glow after reaching God Tier, once a spirit beast reaches God Tier, its marks takes a brighter glow.
That is the way to differentiate between a God Tier normal beast and a God Tier Spirit beast.
Another thing that differentiated normal animals without anything special was that the special animals had crystal cores that can be used to do all sorts of things including creating weapons.
