Mia was greeted by the aroma of food the moment she opened the door. Usually, she arrived home before Declan, but today proved to be the opposite. Declan removed his apron and folded it. The look on her face was the reason he had worn the apron. "I heard from a little bird that someone is the new brand ambassador of Pierson Skincare. It's worth celebrating."

Mia frowned. She hadn't told him, and she had made Alexis promise not to tell him, so how did he know she was the brand ambassador? She had wanted to be the one to tell him. He had been with her on her career journey, so he deserved to know.
