Chương 10: Explosion
It was relatively peaceful at the school. Well, as peaceful as a school could get, anyway. After many years, Tang Miaoyi revelled in the feeling of being back in school after so long.
But as quickly as it began, it ended just as fast. The last bell rang out, and Tang Miaoyi started packing her things up to head home, satisfied with a day of work.
But for some, school ended much too quickly. Lin Ruofang, who was sitting two rows behind Tang Miaoyi, almost wished school lasted longer.
"Ruofang, hello? Did you zone out again?" The girl at the next table asked, in an attempt to snap him out of whatever daze he was in currently.
"No, it's okay, I was just thinking about today's exam." Lin Ruofang came back to his senses and quickly made an excuse, "There was a question on the test I think I made a mistake on."
"So that's why. Do you want to exchange notes on it? I think I did pretty good..." The girl suggests, in an attempt to help him.
"No, it's fine. Not like I can change my answer now." He politely declined her offer, however the entire time he's talking to her, he's staring towards the front of the class.
Following his eyeline, the girl notices something, "By the way, do you feel that Tang Miaoyi's personality changed a lot? "
"It did? I didn't notice." Lin Ruofang lightly brushed his hair, confused: "What is it?"
"It almost seems like she's more... Friendly? Or actually, maybe it's more genuine... Although she is acting a bit more shy than usual, she's smiling much more as well." Eventually, she snapped back to reality, and had a shocking realization, "Right! You've never heard it before, right? Here, Listen!"
Lin Ruofang politely took the headphones from her and tapped the play button gently. Soon, you could almost see fireworks being set off in his eyes.
