Artemis stood on the rooftop, her gaze fixed on the luminous moon above, yet she couldn't shake the feeling of another's eyes upon her. She knew those fiery eyes all too well; The pair of fiery eyes that watched her seemed to leave an imprint on her soul wherever they landed.

The night sky cast a silvery glow upon her features, but despite the serene backdrop, she couldn't escape the awareness of his presence nearby. Although she was staring at the moon, every fiber of her being wanted her eyes to land on the figure hiding in the shadows.

It had been so long since she had last seen him. The mere thought of their reunion tugged at her heartstrings. She wanted him to step out of the darkness, to approach her, but she couldn't bring herself to make the first move. She had caused him too much pain, approaching him was not an option.
