"Are you confused? Baffled? Are you unable to comprehend the fact that a 20-year-old is besting you?" Zael mocked Annette. "How is it that a woman like me who had lived for thousands of years is losing to a fellow Runist!?" he rhetorically asked. 

"Do you know what the most significant downside of being in the Dream State is?" Zael asked, but it was Z who answered in his thoughts. 'No resources.' 

"If you enter there as a Minor Forger, you will come out as a Minor Forger since you can neither increase your Arcane nor you can improve your understanding of the Celestials. However, do you know the biggest perk of it is?" 

'Rune Arts,' Z answered in his thoughts. 

"There, you can understand the Laws that govern this world and, through that, become a Runist!" Zael said. "Do you get it now, old hag? You cannot win!"

"You, brat! Do not push my buttons! Do you seriously think that you can defeat me?" Annette raged.

"Come on, show me the answer!"
