Chương 287: Hangout with Secret friend and Best friend
After Kaneki and Yuuka apologized to each other and somewhat reconciled they made plans after school, Yuuka also decided to invite Natsuki since she helped her a lot.
Natsuki: Thanks for inviting me Yuuka.
Yuuka: no problem, you did help us after all.
Yuuka and Natsuki are currently waiting for Kaneki at the arcade.
Natsuki: hehe~ by the way have you seen his second body?
Yuuka: yup, I'm honestly surprised.
Kotarou/Kaneki: what are you two talking about?
Kaneki who was in his second body suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
Yuuka & Natsuki: AHHH!
Kotarou/Kaneki: why are you two screaming?
Natsuki: you came out of nowhere!
Kotarou/Kaneki: that's fair. Anyways it's great to see you two.

Yuuka: although, why do you bring Sword-san with you?

Natsuki: anyways, let's go inside arcade!
Kotarou/Kaneki & Yuuka: let's go!
All 3 of them then went to the arcade.
Yuuka: so what games do you two want to play?
Natsuki & Kotarou/Kaneki: dancing fever!
Yuuka: are you sure Natsuki? It may surprise you but I'm really good at dancing so you might lose.
Natsuki: don't underestimate me!
Kotarou/Kaneki: I actually never seen Natsuki dance before so let's do that.
Yuuka: Alright but let's put a twist.
Natsuki & Kotarou/Kaneki: a twist?
Yuuka: whoever loses the most rounds will have to do a punishment.
Kotarou/Kaneki: I'm in.
Natsuki: same here.
Yuuka: Alright! Let's go play Dancing fever!
They then got onto the machines to play against each other.
Yuuka: good luck you two.
Natsuki & Kotarou/Kaneki: same goes for you.
They then started playing.
20 minutes later*
Natsuki: No way! I actually lost!
Natsuki was on here knees surprised that she lost.
Yuuka: told you I was good at dancing.
Natsuki: no fair! Ko-chan's body was specifically made for dancing!
Kotarou/Kaneki: I'm sorry to say, but even if I'm not using this body it won't make any difference, I have many years of dance practices.
Natsuki: no way... sigh~ so what's my punishment?
Yuuka: you have to treat us dinner at your place.
Natsuki: wait that's a punishment?
Kotarou/Kaneki: huh?
Natsuki: I was already thinking of inviting you two to my place after we're done here.

Kaneki said with a smile.
Natsuki & Yuuka: let's go!
They continued to play for a while and after they were done they headed to Natsuki's house.
Yuuka: I can't wait to see your house Natsuki!
Kotarou/Kaneki: same here.
Natsuki: by the way, please don't go looking around my house alright? Mostly you Ko-chan.
Kotarou/Kaneki: I won't.
Natsuki: also my dad will be there so don't talk to him.
Yuuka: what? Why?
Natsuki: he... Likes to give sweets and he told me a while back he's going to embarrass me in front of my friends if I ever bring some over.
Kotarou/Kaneki: That doesn't sound bad.
Natsuki: he's going to embarrass me!

Yuuka: well I hope we can get along with your parents.
Kotarou/Kaneki: same here.
Natsuki: sigh~ alright, anyways we're here.
They all arrived at Natsuki's house.

(I can't believe I'm actually inviting my friends to my parents! And one of them is a boy!)
Natsuki: alright, let's go in.
Yuuka & Kotarou/Kaneki: Pardon the intrusion.
They all then went inside the Mizutani residence.
Natsuki: I'm home~
Katsuki: Welcome back Natsuki-cha- WOOOOW! DEAR LOOK OUR DAUGHTER BROUGHT SOME FRIENDS!
Satsuki: REALLY?!
Katsuki: Come down stairs!
Satsuki: IM COMING!
Kotarou/Kaneki: they really seem excited huh?
Yuuka: that's a surprise.
Natsuki: I never really had any friends to bring over so they were worried but since I brought you two they're overjoyed.
Thud!
Katsuki: are you alright?!
Satsuki: I'm alright!
Kotarou/Kaneki: um Mizutani-san are you alright?
Satsuki: I'm alright!
After saying that both Satsuki and Katsuki bowed.
Yuuka & Kotarou/Kaneki: Eh?!
Satsuki: Thanks for getting along with our daughter!
Katsuki: we hope she hasn't cause you two any trouble.
Natsuki: Mom Dad! Stop you're embarrassing me in front of my friends!
Katsuki: I'll make dinner now!
Satsuki: you girls can sit down on the couch and relax, I'll get you girls some sweets.
Yuuka: umm... Okay?
All 3 of them sat down on the couch.
Natsuki: sigh~ this is so embarrassing.
Yuuka: it's alright Natsuki it isn't that bad.
Kotarou/Kaneki: yeah, it just shows that they really care about you I mean you did say you never really had any friends so it's very understandable that your parents are acting like that.
Natsuki: I guess you're right but I still can't get over house embarrassing it is.
Satsuki: hello girls here have some sweets.
Natsuki's father, Satsuki, came with some sweets to give.
Yuuka: thanks.
Kotarou/Kaneki: Thanks.
Satsuki then sat near Natsuki.
Satsuki: what are your names?
Yuuka: Mirai Yuuka.
Kotarou/Kaneki: Higanbana Miku.
Both Yuuka and Natsuki was confused when Kaneki saidbthat.
Satsuki: nice to meet you Mirai-san, Higanbana-san, so how did you two met my daughter?
Yuuka: I came up to her and asked to be friends.
Satsuki: I see have you two get along?
Yuuka: yup!
Satsuki: good I'm glad. What about you Higanbana-san?
Kotarou/Kaneki: she stalked me.
Satsuki: Eh?
Katsuki: what did you say?
Natsuki: don't tell them that!!
Satsuki: no please tell us.
Natsuki: Yuuka please stop her!
Yuuka: I'm actually quite curious too.
Natsuki: oh no.
Kotarou/Kaneki: I'll make it short, we actually met in our classroom though I left almost immediately and the next day after school she stalked me until she was close to my house. When I confronted her we went to a cat cafe and talked after that we became friends.
Katsuki: oh my, my daughter is a stalker.
Satsuki: Natsuki you have some explaining to do.
Natsuki was trapped so she had no choice but to explain.
Katsuki: I see.
Satsuki: well we'll let you off the hook for now just don't do that again.
Natsuki: I won't.
Katsuki: Dinner is almost ready so prepare to eat.
Satsuki: Mom's cooking is super good you girls are gonna enjoy it!
When dinner was made they all sat down on the table to eat.
Everyone: Itadakimasu~
When Yuuka and Kaneki put the food in their mouths they were both shocked to taste something so good, so much that they eat very quickly.
Natsuk: they really are enjoying mom's food.
Satsuki: you girls can have seconds if you want.
Yuuka: Really?!
Kotarou/Kaneki: Is it alright?!
Katsuki: you two are guest here so it alright.
Yuuka & Kotarou/Kaneki: Thanks!
They all then eat happily.
After dinner they played for a bit then Kaneki and Yuuka had to leave to go home.
Natsuki: stay safe you two, today was really fun.
Yuuka: same here.
Kotarou/Kaneki: see you later.
Yuuka and Kaneki then left walking back to their homes.
5 minutes later*
Kotarou/Kaneki: well we're gonna separate now... See ya tomorrow.
Yuuka: see ya buddy.
Kotarou/Kaneki: oh yeah I'll be giving you something tomorrow after school so go to my place alright?
Yuuka: sure, well bye.
Kotarou/Kaneki: bye.
They then separated going back to their homes while being happy after being able hangout again after a long time.
