Chương 29: CHAPTER 29 – KOHARU'S SECOND PARTNER, A BRIEF ENCOUNTER WITH GOH (Fixed)
In the previous chapter we see how our heroes return to Kanto and, after informing Professor Cerise of their departure, they went to Celadon with the aim of winning their fourth gym Badge, on the way they find a small injured Elekid and decide to take him with him to the nearest Pokémon Center, but luckily, they encounter a kind of Pokémon Shelter led by Harry, a selfless person who helped the injured Pokémon in the area along with a wild Vaporeon, which seemed to have made good friends with Koharu at least until Team Rocket appeared.

And Koharu.
Team Rocket's Balloon was in the air with the metal-like net hanging from it.
"Ash! How?" – I said puzzled.
"I got up to go to the toilet and since I didn't see you, I assumed you went for a walk and you know the rest" - Ash explained.
"I see" – I nodded.
"Now that the brat is here the party can begin, Gogoat uses Razor Leaf!" – said James.
"Slash!" – ordered Jessie.
"Iron Tail against Doublade and Flamethrower against Gogoat!"
Both attacks made contact and Gogoat suffered serious damage while Doublade simply backed away.
"Charizard, finish with Flamethrower, Pikachu uses...!" – Ash tried to say.
"Vap" – but Vaporeon got in front of Pikachu.
Ash looked puzzled at Vaporeon, but then he just looked at me and ordered Pikachu to leave, then Vaporeon looked at me and I understood, she didn't want to depend on others to protect the place she should protect, she wants to do it by herself and even if she can't with two, with one she can.
"Water Gun to the Doublade!" – I ordered.
"Flamethrower to the Gogoat!"
"Seed Bomb!"
"Night Slash!"
The Flamethrower hit the Seed Bomb and literally pierced it like butter causing the attack to hit Gogoat and weaken.
While the Water Gun crashed into the Doublade, neither seemed to want to give in to the other's attack.
"Come on, you can't give up, you have to protect them, protect those you care about, Water Gun!"
Vaporeon seemed to understand what he meant by this and caused the size of his attack to increase by sending Doublade flying and weakening in the process.
"Team Rocket is over, free those Pokémon!" said Ash.
"Ha, you may have weakened our Pokémon, but let's see how you release them!" – laughed James.
"Easy, Pikachu, use Thunderbolt!" – Ash ordered.
Pikachu was going to throw the Thunderbolt, but I stopped it.
"What's wrong?" - asked Ash confused.
"If Pikachu fires the Thunderbolt, it will damage the Pokémon" – I said pointing to the net.
Ash thought about it for a second and nodded.
"What do we do then? I can't use Charizard either" - Ash said.
But before I could say anything, Vaporeon stepped in and looked at me.
"Exactly, if you attack us, you will harm the Pokémon, so you can't do anything!" – Jessie nodded.
"We're leaving!" - said Meowth.
"None of that, come on Vaporeon, use Aurora Beam on the net!" – I ordered.
A blue beam shot out into the net, but instead of hitting the Pokémon, it hit directly on the small rope that joined the net and the lathe, freezing it.
"Now Ash!" – I shouted.
"Charizard, throw Pikachu, Pikachu, Iron Tail!" – said Ash.
Charizard grabbed Pikachu and threw him towards the balloon, then Pikachu used Iron Tail to break the net and free the Pokémon that had been captured, which fled the place.
"And now that you have no protection, it's over, Water Gun!" – I said.
"Thunderbolt/Flamethrower!" said Ash.
"Nooo!" – shouted the three.
All attacks hit Team Rocket, sending them flying.
Jessie, James and Meowth: Team Rocket has been defeated again!
And so, they disappeared from sight.
"What happened? We heard an explosion" - Nancy said.
Everyone had arrived at the place and bombarded us with questions, after answering them, Harry checked all the Pokémon that had been captured by Team Rocket to check if they had any injuries, luckily, they did not, so we can say that everything went well.
So, after a long session checking that no one was hurt or anything like that, we went back to sleep.

The next morning.
We got up a little later than usual, mainly because what happened left us even more exhausted than before.
We went down to breakfast and, surprisingly, it was already on the table, so we enjoyed a good breakfast with our Pokémon, unfortunately Mew and Shaymin were given food a little later, I am also against them eating alone, but it is for their good, at least for now.
About two hours passed and it was time to leave, so we said goodbye.
"Well, it's been a pleasure, I hope to see you again and you know, if you want to come back, you have the door open" – Harry said with a smile.
"Thanks a lot" - Ash nodded.
But just as we were about to leave, Vaporeon appeared and looked at me with a pitiful face, so I just bent down and stroked his head while smiling.
"We'll see you again, take care of yourself and make sure you keep everyone safe" - I said with a smile.
"Vap..." – said Vaporeon bowing his head.
"Mmm, listen Vaporeon, I think you should go with her, you can tell you've become good friends," Harry said suddenly.
"But it's impossible, Vaporeon is the one who takes care of this place along with you, if you leave, what will happen to you?" – I asked Harry.
"Don't worry, I'll ask the Pokémon Center to send me some staff to help, so you can go with her" - Harry smiled.
"Vap" - said Vaporeon.
"I thank you for everything you did during all this time, but I don't want you to separate because you feel responsible for all this, besides, you can still come back whenever you want, it would not be a goodbye, but a see you later" – Harry said looking at Vaporeon.
"Vap" – nodded Vaporeon.
"Well ready then" - said Harry.
Then I crouched down and stared at her.
"Are you sure you want to come with me?" – I asked curiously.
"Vap!" - She nodded.
"Well, welcome to the family!" – I said pulling out a Pokéball.
Luckily I brought a few before leaving home.
Vaporeon nodded happily, and she got into the Pokéball herself.
"Take good care of her and remember that you can come whenever you want" - Harry said.
After that, we said goodbye to Harry and set off, straight to Celadon City so that Ash, Nancy and Verity got their 4th Gym Medal, but I remember wrong, the next leader was Erika.
We were walking for a while, along the way, I also took Eevee out to play with Pikachu, Servine and Piplup, who had fun playing, obviously they could follow us because we walked at a fairly slow pace.
A few hours passed and it was finally time for lunch, luckily, we have a complete camping kit and plenty of food for Pokémon, so we had no problem making food for ourselves and, since we were away, Mew and Shaymin were able to eat with the others without hiding.
We return with Ash.
We had had a nice, uneventful and mostly delicious meal, the Pokémon also seemed satisfied, but for some reason what should have been a quiet afternoon turned into something more, what happened? Easy to explain, Pikachu and the others decided to play hide and seek and obviously everyone hid to prevent Pikachu from finding them, at first it was fun to see how the Pokémon played happily, but suddenly, something happened.
"Wow, a Servine and here in Kanto, I don't think about it anymore, Pokéball, GO!" – said a voice suddenly.
We quickly ran in that direction believing that something had happened, that maybe Team Rocket had returned or even furtive, but nothing could be further from reality, what we found was a boy with gray clothes and black pants, black hair and brown eyes and he was brown skinned, in other words, it's Goh, who knew we would meet, but hoped it would be later.
However, he was unable to catch Servine as when the Pokéball hit him, a shield appeared around Servine, ejecting Goh's Pokéball backwards.
"Hey, what do you think you're doing with my Pokémon?"- asked Nancy angrily.
Goh looked puzzled at Nancy, but it didn't take long for him to react.
"I'm sorry, I didn't know it was yours, I apologize for it... Koharu?" – Goh said looking at Koharu surprised.
"Hello Goh" – Koharu said coldly.
Well, here we go, I expected to face this situation later, but what are we going to do, as they say, against sooner better, I guess.
"What are you doing here? I thought you would still be in Vermillion" - Goh said, still surprised.
"Well, you see no, in the end I decided to find myself incredible companions and go on a trip" - Koharu replied dryly.
"This is Goh?" - asked Verity curiously.
"Yes, I introduce you to Goh, my childhood friend" - Koharu said dryly.
"Koharu, are you angry about something I did?" - asked Goh upon noticing Koharu's expression towards him.
"What if I am? Well, let me see, I confessed my feelings, you rejected me without explanation, I asked you to stay a year until graduation to go on a trip together but not only did you not wait for me, but you did not say goodbye either, tell me now Goh, am I angry?" – said Koharu.
"This... I'm sorry, but I couldn't wait to fulfill my dream of capturing Mew, you know, when you feel the call you have to go" - Goh explained.
Shit, Mew, I can't let this one see it or it will go crazy.
Nancy seemed to understand what she thought when looking at her and nodded.
"This... I'll be back in a minute" - I said.
"Anyway, now I'm back" – Nancy nodded.
Then I headed to the camp, where the Pokémon had finished playing hide-and-seek.
"Mew, you have to come back for the time being" – I said pulling out my Pokéball.
"Mew" – Mew nodded.
Mew is smart and knows that there are humans who would try to hunt him with everything they have if they found out he was with me, I even tried to say that maybe he would be better off alone like the other Mew, but he refused, he wanted to accompany me even knowing this and adapted to the situation, that's why I have to get strong faster, so you don't have to do these things.
Mew and Shaymin returned to their Pokéball and then we returned with Koharu, Verity and poor Goh, but apparently the latter has already left.
"What happened? We were literally out for a minute, where's Goh?" – I asked seeing Goh nowhere.
"You must have seen Koharu, in less than a minute he said you were his boyfriend and he could go away, Goh even seemed affected by that news and left without saying a word!" – Verity explained.
"Hmph, he deserved it, after everything he did to me he deserves a lesson" - Koharu said.
"Well, don't be too cruel to him either, I say, thanks to him we met" – I said hugging Koharu.
"That's why I will forgive him in the future, but for now he suffers a little" - Koharu agreed.
And so, after a brief meeting with Goh, we headed back to Celadon City.
